Knotty Dog Woodcrafts Small craft business selling quality hand made products. We would like to introduce ourselves - Kristi and Crystal Gaff.

We have turned our growing wood working hobby into a part-time business called Knotty Dog Woodcrafts. We enjoy creating many different things in our shop. Currently we have items created with the aid of a small CNC machine and a small wood lathe. We also create signs with upcycled material and old barn board. Soon we will be incorporating laser cut products. Our creations will be available online

and at local craft fairs. Thank you for coming on this journey with us as we make our dreams of this part-time business a reality.

Knotty Dog Woodcrafts The customer provided us with the design. It was a housewarming gift for their son and partner who love both the ocean and mountains. Made from one piece of ambrosia maple, 15 inch off-set round. Detailed hand painting with a focus on texturizing the mountains and wave. This is the most unique sign we’ve made to date! They said that the hand painting is beautiful and it is a great representation of their interests! They could not believe it was one piece of wood!! They loved it!

Knotty Dog Woodcrafts Today one of our customers received their custom order sign, and this is the message we received:

"It arrived. I didn't know what to expect, but truly, it is amazing. The border is perfect, and the wood itself is so me. Big smile on this girls face. We will have another sign to do when we get our dog fence. I love everything you do, You are amazing. Thank you."

We say...no, thank YOU for trusting us to create something that you love! We appreciate your business more than you know! This is our first attempt at using barnboard in our sign design. It was challenging and fun.

Sign is 18 x 6 x .75 inches made with Ambrosia Maple. Paint is General Finishes Lamp Black Milk Paint with General Finishes High Performance Satin sealer.

Good morning Knotty Dog Woodcrafts followers!!! New in 2025 - trucker hats with patches created using our laser. They are heat pressed onto the hat using quality adhesive with the option to add stitching. Four of these hats will be donated to a husky rescue fund raiser. These trucker hats are very popular! We will work with you on a patch design (ie business logo, event, camping, fishing, biking, etc!!) and there are various hat colors to choose from. Contact us for more information. Prices will vary.

Good afternoon Knotty Dog Woodcrafts followers!! We delivered this custom sign today! Dimensions are 28 x 11.25 x .75 inches! After working with the customer to determine what they were looking for we used artificial intelligence - AI to create the design you see below. This was the first time we used AI, and it won’t be the last. Color is Forest Green. So much fun!!
