As we prepare to gather around the table this Thanksgiving, let’s not forget the furry friends who make our homes even warmer and cozier! 🐶🐱 From sneakily trying to snag a taste of turkey to joining us on post-dinner walks, our pets are a special part of the holiday. Here are a few ways to include them in the celebration:

Pet-Friendly Treats 🥕🦴: Share the feast safely with pet-friendly snacks like plain veggies or a small slice of cooked turkey (hold the spices!).

Extra Cuddles and Play 🎾🐾: Thanksgiving is all about gratitude—show your pets how thankful you are for them with extra belly rubs and playtime.

Quiet Space 🛋️🐱: If guests are over, give your pets a cozy corner where they can retreat if things get too busy.

Our pets are family, and Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without them. How are you including your dog or cat in the festivities this year? 🧡🍁

Is your horse struggling to show their best?

When it comes to showing, horses can sometimes have behaviors that hold them back from truly shining. From sudden spooking to reluctance in the ring or trouble focusing, these behaviors can be as frustrating for owners as they are confusing for the horse.

As an animal communicator, I often work with horses and their owners to uncover the root causes of these behaviors. Sometimes, it’s simply a misunderstanding, a bit of anxiety, or even an area of discomfort that’s causing the issue. By understanding their perspective, we can work together to resolve the problem and help them show with confidence.

💬 What’s one behavior your horse has that you wish you could change? Drop a comment below—I’d love to hear about your experiences!

Feeling overwhelmed by all the training methods out there? Between endless books, videos, and “expert” advice, it’s easy to get lost—and even easier for our horses to feel confused too. But here’s the truth: there’s no one-size-fits-all way to train a horse. At the heart of any successful training is clear communication between you and your horse.

In my latest blog, I dive into how animal communication can help bridge this gap. Discover how connecting with your horse on a deeper level can improve training, build trust, and create a stronger partnership. Whether you’re working on new skills or tackling behavior issues, this could be the tool you’ve been looking for!

Change can be tough on our beloved equine friends. Moving to a new stable, joining a different herd, or adjusting to a new owner can bring up stress and anxiety for horses, who thrive on familiarity and routine. As an animal communicator, I help horses understand and feel more at ease during these transitions, allowing them to adapt more comfortably to their new surroundings.

Through gentle communication, I connect with the horse's emotions, acknowledging any fears or uncertainties they may have and reassuring them of the positive changes ahead. Whether it’s a new pasture or a new friend, this process can ease their anxiety, making the transition smoother and building trust with their new companions. 💞

If your horse is facing a big change, I’d love to help them feel more secure and settled.

For over 30 years, I've dedicated my hands and heart to helping horses as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Every day, I’ve had the joy of working with people and their horses to solve physical and behavioral challenges through massage therapy, becoming a true partner in the problem-solving process. My hands-on work provided clues to areas of pain or discomfort, guiding the horse's owner and veterinarian in putting together the full picture of what was troubling their equine friend. Being part of each horse's care team brought me incredible satisfaction—and inspired me to do more.

It was these very horses that opened my eyes to something amazing: the animals and I were already communicating. I needed to learn how to listen even more deeply to better understand what they were sharing with me. I threw myself into learning everything about telepathic communication, honing skills of focus, empathy, and deep listening through years of intuitive practice. This work has connected me with animals and their people around the globe, bringing moments of joy, insights, and learning every day.

Today, I work with pet owners, horse trainers, veterinarians, competitors, and animal care professionals who want to strengthen their bond with the animals they love. Through telepathic communication, I help foster these unforgettable connections that allow relationships to blossom.

While fall activities like playing in leaf piles or munching on pumpkins can seem fun for our furry friends, there are some hidden dangers pet owners should be aware of:

1️⃣ Leaf Pile Dangers:

Hidden Hazards: Leaf piles can hide sharp objects, sticks, or even insects like ticks, which can attach to your pet and cause issues. 🕷️

Mold & Bacteria: Wet, decaying leaves can harbor mold and bacteria that might irritate your pet’s skin or cause gastrointestinal issues if ingested. 🍂

Allergies: Some pets may have allergies to mold, pollen, or dust that can be stirred up from playing in leaf piles, leading to sneezing, itching, or watery eyes. 🐕🤧

2️⃣ Pumpkin Dangers:

Raw Pumpkin Risks: While pumpkin can be beneficial in small amounts, raw pumpkin or pumpkin rinds can be tough for pets to digest, leading to stomach upset. 🎃

Pumpkin Seeds: Too many seeds can cause gastrointestinal issues. Always serve pumpkin seeds in moderation and make sure they are unsalted and roasted. 🐶🥜

Decorative Pumpkins: These may be coated with paint, glitter, or chemicals, which can be toxic if your pet decides to take a bite. Stick to fresh, pet-safe pumpkin if you want to share this seasonal treat. 🍂⚠️

🍂 Pro Tip: Cooked, plain pumpkin (without any spices or sugar) can be a healthy treat for pets in moderation!

Keep these dangers in mind while enjoying fall fun with your pet! 🎃🐾

Has your dog ever dashed out the door or slipped the leash, leaving you wondering why they ran away? There are a few common reasons why dogs take off unexpectedly:

1️⃣ Instinct and curiosity – Dogs have natural instincts to explore and chase after interesting sights or smells, like squirrels, birds, or even other dogs. 🐿️🌳

2️⃣ Boredom or lack of exercise – If your dog isn’t getting enough mental and physical stimulation, they might try to find their own adventure. Regular walks and playtime can help reduce this urge. 🎾

3️⃣ Fear or anxiety – Loud noises like fireworks, thunderstorms, or even a stressful home environment can cause dogs to flee out of fear. 🌀🔊

4️⃣ Mating instincts – Non Spayed or neutered dogs may run off in search of a mate, so it’s always a good idea to spay or neuter your pet. 🐾

5️⃣ Separation anxiety – Dogs that are overly attached to their owners might try to escape to find them when left alone. 💔

If your pet has run away, I have created a lost dog flier for you to use!

Did you know that mammary cancer is one of the most common cancers in pets, especially in unspayed females? But the good news is, there are steps you can take to help protect your furry friends! 🐶🐱

Here’s how you can reduce the risk:

✅Spay early – Spaying your pet before their first heat cycle drastically lowers the risk of mammary cancer.
✅Maintain a healthy weight – Keep your pet at a healthy weight through proper diet and exercise. Obesity increases cancer risks.
✅Regular vet checkups – Early detection is key! Make sure your vet checks for any unusual lumps during regular visits.
✅Monitor for symptoms – Keep an eye out for any unusual lumps, swelling, or changes in the mammary area and contact your vet if anything seems off.
✅Avoid hormonal treatments – Hormonal medications can increase the risk of cancer, so use them only when absolutely necessary and with your vet’s guidance.

Let’s keep our pets healthy and happy by taking these simple steps to prevent mammary cancer! 🐾💗
