I am a local dog trainer in the Fredericksburg area, working primarily with obedience and behavior modification.

I've worked with a very wide array of dogs since I started training in 2018, and I am looking to open my books to the pups in the area for training sessions and one on one lessons with owners.

Kosha here deals with a great deal of stranger danger and reactivity. You can see her actively working on focusing on me rather than the distraction in the distance. When I notice her attention, I mark the behavior with a high pitched "good!" and feed, in order to reinforce the behavior. #dogtraining#germanshepherd#dogtrainingtips#good#girl#kosha

Here we have Buddy, showing off how impressive his heel is! I'm also working on his auto-sits by asking him to sit every time we stop walking. Teaching your dog to walk properly on a leash, and sit when stopped are two great ways to teach them to be more calm and still in their environment. #dogtraining#goodboy#buddy#leashwalking
