Watching training horses progress and learn is always one of the coolest part of training, but moments like this top it all. Seeing Dutch take care of her little rider, Grace, is such a rewarding experience! After a few more lessons with these 2 Dutch will be going home, and I can’t wait to see where this pair goes in the future ❤️
Bringing this mare up from all but unrideable to cruising all but perfect barrel runs has been a journey. Anyone who knows Corona knows she’s a handful 24/7. She was unpredictable and dangerous some days I never thought we’d get to easier days. After 7 long years she has stepped up to the plate, and become my main girl who I can rely on to go into the arena and do her job! Today she proved herself once again finishing 4th out of 70 horses and a nice paycheck. Stumbling across her sale ad and deciding to try a resale project, and failing, landed her in my barn forever 💜
I'm glad to be sending Levi home with the confidence he and Makenna lacked prior to his 30 days with me. To see the improvements from refusing to collect himself and going around the arena full speed with zero balance. He’s now slowing down, collecting himself, and transitioning smoothly. Excited to have him back in a few months for a tune-up before the show ring!

Since it only allows me to post one video at a time here is Corona’s run from Friday! She also set herself a new PR with a 15.682 finishing 6th out of 89 horses. I’ve taught Corona everything she knows and having her in the arena placing so well is the best feeling. Also super excited to get this season going with her 🥰
It was a great weekend at the D7 Spring Classic! Nick and I set a new PR with a 15.530 on Saturday! We finished 2nd in the 2D and 10th out of 115 horses! He worked extremely good this weekend and gave me 110% each run we made! Can’t wait for the rest of the season ❤️
