Most dogs are quick to tell us if they are getting cold and they want to head inside. To show you their discomfort, they may:

•Shiver or tremble
•Hold their feet up in the air
•Whine
•Hunch up
•Tuck their tails
•Show behavioral changes, such as acting disoriented, confused, or dazed
•Refuse to walk

Some of the pups have filled me in on their ✨2025✨ New Year’s resolutions, and the most popular ones were:

✅ stop attacking the vacuum cleaner
✅ I will not hump our house guests
✅ stop pooping/pottying on the groomer’s floor
✅ stop stealing socks
✅ good doggo = lots & lots & lots of treats!!

When people come in with a very matted dog, nine times out of ten the owner asks if I can brush it out or leave their pet “ a little fluffy.” I don’t like to argue with customers at all and try my hardest to save their pets coats, but I do want them to understand they’re getting back a shaved dog. I tell them it will hurt the dog, as well as many other reasons. PROPER BRUSHING, regular grooms and a few other things will save your dogs coat❗️The one read example that seems to work is when I ask them if they didn’t brush their hair for 3 months, their hairdresser won’t brush it out either🤣 I truly do not want to just shave your dog down because “it’s easier”, its what has to happen if proper maintenance has not taken place between grooms! 😊
