Our boy "Cash" had his debut today at his first ever show... Slow and easy is how we like to start em. Cash turned 3 in June, and our daughter Reagan has been at the helm of his training, putting in the most time on him off any of us since he turned 2. I got him going with all the groundwork, and Reagan was the first in the saddle as a 2 year old. We'll be standing him in the next year or two after we feel he's got a really good handle on him.
Tonight we worked completely bareback.. Learning balance and how to better understand the horses movements. We did "ride-a-buck" at a walk and trot and they both kept it in place!! Quick little video of Lacey just doing some basic manuvers at the walk and keeping her "dollar" in place... Great job again tonight you two!!
New horse, new rider, and this is only his second lesson (first lesson was on one of our horses). Levi ROCKING it, and showing off everything we worked on tonight! GREAT JOB LEVI!!!
Mom is also taking lessons, so I'll have to try to get some video of her next time😉
Looks, AND brains...Remi always gives me 110%
