🌏Every year is a year for learning and growing and this year was no different.

🌟Navigating how I want to be in the dog world as a breeder, an owner, a handler, fellow exhibitor, and friend hasn’t been without mistake and it will be an ever evolving process for me as I’m continually experiencing new situations and learning what feels right as I go. I’m glad that I have an amazing community that has really rallied around me. I’m so grateful for them allowing my sometimes silly questions and sometimes my way too literal brain. It means more than I know how to express.

✨My goals for 2025 are to continue to grow and learn and have fun with my dogs in whatever venues we find ourselves in. Many plans are up in the air as progress is almost never linear so they won’t make the year in review but fingers crossed that good things are to come.

🌟I’m going to start individual posts to shine a light on some highlights of the year 🌟

🍫This year was the first time I ever presented a bred by to the fancy and I’m so thrilled with how my KitKat puppy progressed with fairly limited showing due to raising other bred bys and trying to maintain a work/life/dog balance. Kitty is wonderful companion in life and travel buddy and training partner. She ends the year with 12 of her 15 points towards her championship, including 1 major AND 2 Bred By Herding Group Placements AND an OH Group 2 placement! I’m so so very proud of this baby dog. Can’t wait to see the journey she continues to take me on! 🎉

Ferris(Tori x Jelly) was awarded an Award of Merit
And
Nox(Bandit x Natty) on his debut day in the classes was awarded Best Of Opposite for his first 5pt major (edit- adding a second photo of Nox from today 🥰)

Babies are 1 week old and growing everyday!! We are still absolutely smitten with these babies and we have been watching their Proud Papa Mowgli on AKC TV many times this week cheering him as he was awarded so many beautiful wins 🤩

What a fabulous day for Jelly Bean!

✨Her puppy from the Sweets litter received a Group 3 in the herding puppy stakes! Congratulations to all his owners!

💙Her baby daddy for the Best In Show litter received a OH Group 1!!! Best in Show competition tomorrow 🤞

🐔And probably most importantly to her she got extra chicken in her dinner 🥰
