We have kittens!
Quinny and Bo are approx 12-14 weeks old, have all vaccines, are neutered and are negative for FeLV/FIV.
Both are kid, cat and dog friendly.
Bo is a handsome mini panther that loves to play... And this boy has a motor!
Quinny is a unique smoky brown and cream tabby. Floofy ears and feet and his tail is so big, it should have its own ZIP code. He's a giant purr box. 🐈❤️

***Attention Lexington County Animal lovers & Pet Owners**❤️

Pawmetto Lifeline was created to serve Lexington & Richland Counties.
They have spay/neuter days for Saluda, Newberry, Kershaw and now Florence Counties!!
How about they stick to their misssion and s/n more animals from Richland/ Lexington Counties?
I know there are plenty of feral cats out there reproducing, even if PL thinks all the pets are done. ( Which they are not)
Richland County has the Humane Society, Lexington County has NOTHING! PL is it and they've gotten ridiculous.

**This is exactly why our Community Cat Program is failing. This is why there are kittens everywhere.

This is also why I no longer support Pawmetto Lifeline. They have no idea what their true mission is. They've completely lost their way.

This is why we need Low-No cost, County based spay/neuter for Lexington County Residents. We need to just take PL out of the equation, because they clearly don't give a crap about Lexington County.
I'm not alone in asking for this...

8 cats dropped off. 12 cats picked up, and out of those, only Three were males!! Nine females will never have more kittens!! They were all released at their home base.

Unloaded all the traps, all trap towels and covers are in the washer, traps have been hosed out. All cats were let out into the house and I'm almost done cleaning crates and scooping boxes.

Today I've got to get some mulch put in these beds. I've had it for 4 weeks and every time I start, something happens and I get pulled away. This weekend is it!

This is Smokey.
He needs a man that can get him up and moving. He likes men, other cats, small dogs and food. Lol He is a big boy at 17 pounds.
He's not a fan of women though, so if he needs to be handled, it needs to be a man he knows.
He will be 8 the 27th of this month. He's neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, and has one eye. I have his original vetting paperwork and his most recent, he is UTD on vaccines. He has been dewormed and is on monthly flea prevention. (I have dogs that go in and out) His teeth are clean and he has no medical issues.

He is STRICTLY inside only, and prefers a large, top entry litter box. He stands up when he pees, and this will avoid accidents.
He's a good boy, he just doesn't like me... Or any other women.
Please share, he needs a good home.
His adoption fee has been sponsored, so he's free to the right home.
He's in Lexington at Purry Paws Rescue.

Went out to catch the injured cat. The homeowner had been feeding and working with this guy for the past week. He got him confined in his shop, so catching him was easy. He ate some wet food off a spoon, and he liked it. I just made a trail into the trap, and I had him in 3 or 4 minutes. He's not feral, but he is hurt and cautious. I now have him in my shop with the a/c on, and he's got a towel in the bottom of the trap and a bowl with wet and dry food and water.
He's skin and bones, has old healed puncture wounds, he's filthy and in general poor condition. The photos are hard to look at, I even took a video. You simply can't appreciate how badly this cat wants to be helped.
He's going to Crossroads first thing Monday morning.

I got a call from a client, this injured cat had shown up at their barn several months ago but later disappeared. I thought he had been trapped then, by the person caring for their animals as she told me she was going to trap him. The cat disappeared, but showed back up last week. (I've found out the cat had never been trapped!)
I'm putting out a trap tomorrow, I'll wire it open so he can eat out of it a few times. I'll set it Sunday and trap him. He goes to Crossroads Vet Monday morning.
I feel he can be clipped, cleaned, given some Convenia (or some other antibiotic) and hopefully he can recover. I really hope it's not worse than it looks, but it could be. I don't know if he's feral or tame, but we will find out. If he's not neutered, he will be.
If you would like to donate to his care, please use the Zeffy fundraiser link. PayPal and Venmo are killing us on fees, and with Zeffy, we get 100% of the donation.
I've included two photos.
Poor thing!

Raising Babies with Feral Moms

It's that time of year - time to rerun our series posts on how to raise kittens who are already born with their feral mom - and why you want to do this! Obviously, if mom can be spayed before she has kittens, that's the thing to do. But, if you've missed your chance and now you have a litter of kittens... make it easy on them, and you - let mom finish the job!

It is so easy to trap a feral mother using her babies as “bait”, and all you need is to set up a cage with a hidey hole, a litter box, and food/water. You won’t have to buy KMR or bottle feed (and while some people like to bottle feed, it is MUCH healthier for the babies to have their mom’s milk), you won’t have to clean stinky babies several times a day, and you won’t have to work to start socializing them until they are around 4 weeks old. Keep mom until the babies are at least 5 weeks, preferably 6-8, then if she is truly a feral girl have her TNR’d. She will be happier and healthier, and so will the babies.

If you run into this situation and need advice, contact us at [email protected] – we’ll be happy to walk you through it, and can likely loan you the equipment!

It's kitten season again!
Please help us help them! ❤️
We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of spay/neuter for feral cats. I've formed a relationship with a new low cost s/n clinic, but they charge a modest $40 per cat.

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of spay/neuter for feral cats. I've formed a relationship with a new low cost s/n clinic, but they charge a modest $40 per cat. The rescues fees are being covered by a very generous donor, but it still leaves the clinic fee. Many of the people I tra...
