380 DAYS in rescue!

THAT IS OVER 1 YEAR!!

This girl needs her FUREVER home!

Layla is a high energy boxer mix and loves to be the queen bee. She needs to be the only animal in the home. We believe she has diminished hearing and are working to find out how much. She is working on her leash manners, she does well until she sees a critter she wants to chase then she does pull. Due to her intensity, she also needs a home with no children under 16 and would also be best with a 6ft privacy fenced in yard. She is a happy, loving girl once she is out of the stressful shelter environment.

The cleaning supplies shelf at FurEver Home is looking a little bare. 😳

We use white vinegar, bleach, and OdoBan in almost every daily cleaning routine here at the shelter.

Donations can be dropped off (or drop-shipped) to us at 925 West 6th Street, Fremont, NE 68025

We are open Monday - Friday 8a-8p, Saturday 8a-30, and Sunday 8a-Noon.

671 DAYS in rescue! That’s almost 2 YEARS!!

This girl needs her FUREVER home! She is declining being at the rescue so long. We NEED to find the perfect home for her!

Tilly is a beautiful Husky who would love to be your adventure buddy! She loves to play and explore. Tilly is dog selective so will need to meet any in home dogs, but she is not a feline fan so that's a no to cats. She is a typical Husky who likes to go on long walks. She will need to be supervised in the backyard.

Their fur is soft and fluffy and bright sparkling white. They have adorable raspberry eyes and a twitching blush nose and the tiniest, bestest ears.

A message to our community regarding OWNER SURRENDER requests:

FurEver Home, Inc. is NOT an open intake rescue/shelter facility. We do NOT take walk-in owner surrenders.

We do NOT take owner surrenders from residents that live OUTSIDE the city limits of Fremont.

We DO accept owner surrenders from residents that live INSIDE the city limits of Fremont, NE.

As you may have seen posted in the past or by other organizations, most brick-and-mortar shelter / rescue and foster-based rescue that we network with, are at capacity with a backlog of owner surrenders to come in. Owner surrender requests are filtering in faster than animals can be adopted out.

Should you find yourself in need of surrendering your pet, be prepared to wait. We will be in contact with you when space becomes available. You should be reaching out to other rescue organizations and speaking with friends and family as potential re-homing options.

You MUST complete an owner surrender form IN ITS ENTIRETY, including uploading a photo of your pet and its most recent veterinary records. If your form is incomplete, it will not be considered. The form can be found on our website.

We understand your personal situation may be frustrating, and we are just as frustrated with the number of animals we have residing with us. If you need help with behavior issues or advice, we will provide you with the resources and experience we have available.

Do not call us and tell us your new puppy is “too much work”.

Do not call us and tell us you “don’t have time” for your pet.

YOU made the decision to bring a pet in to become part of your family. YOU are responsible.
