We just got an emergency call from
Tufts to take in this little 7 week old female Yorkie. She's having difficulty breathing and heart failure is suspected. They started treatment immediately with lasix and oxygen. She's going to need an echocardiogram to confirm a PDA. (Patent ductus arteriosus) We are hoping it is as this can be treatable with surgery! Please keep her in your prayers and make a donation if possible to this yet to be named sweetie!
We have already put a down payment of $3500!
Update: We have named our little girl Honey! An echocardiogram has confirmed a PDA along with a leaky valve which is likely due to the PDA. The good news there is a surgery to correct the condition. Ideally they would wait til she was bigger and stronger but unfortunately with the extent of her heart failure they feel her only chance is to proceed with surgery now.
She's going to need extra prayers and all the positive thoughts you can send... Along with donations so we can continue to take care of her needs!
