💜🤎Meet Brandy and Octavio🤎💙
•Located in the Eugene, Oregon area•
Brandy (F) and Octavio (M) are a pair of young adult small dogs who were dumped and abandoned on the streets of Fresno CA when a Good Samaritan came across them and reached out to us for help. We took them in and made found reports through the local city animal control in case anyone was missing them but sadly no one ever came forward and once the stray hold was completed we moved forward with vetting and they remained in foster care for the last 3 weeks and are now finally ready to find their forever homes.
💜Brandy (brindle female) is an approximately 1 year old, 12lb, Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix (best guess). She is very friendly, playful, sweet and outgoing. She loves kids, toys and enjoys playing outside in the backyard. She’d be perfect for a family with kids looking for a companion to take on walks, play with outdoors/take to the park. Brandy has been learning the ropes of potty training and has been good when taken out on a schedule.
💙Octavio (fluffy male) is an approximately 2 year old, 9lb, Yorkie/Havanese mix (best guess). He is shy and quiet in new environments but warms up quickly and is the sweetest most gentlest soul once he feels comfortable. He loves affection, cuddling on the couch and lazing in the sunlight. He’d be the perfect companion for someone with a more laid back lifestyle that’s looking for a couch buddy. Octavio has been learning the ropes of potty training and does well when taken out on a schedule.
Brandy and Octavio have been in a foster home with kids, cats and other dogs and when given time to decompress and have done fairly well. Brandy would be better in a home with dog savvy cats since her liveliness can be a bit overwhelming to a cat who isn’t used to having dogs around. Octavio does good with cats who mind their space, he is a little timid with them and needs time to trust.
Brandy and Octavio are fully vetted, they have been fixed (neutered/spayed), microchipped, are up to date on vaccines (including rabies), current on dewormer and are on a 3 month flea & tick preventative/medication. If you’re interested in adopting or meeting one or both of these pups email us for an application. We will be at an adoption event this weekend for them to meet potential homes. Proof of home ownership/landlord approval is a must. Everyone in the home must be present, including other dogs♥️
*this pair was found together, but are not what we consider a bonded pair. They do get along very well and could easily be adopted together, but they do fine apart as well*
