Half way there with her heat. The reason Duke is so manageable with her heat cycle is because he's a seasoned stud. Young males are not so easy to handle when a female is in heat. Some young males can become aggressive and or break/chew through doors to get to the female. It took many years to teach Duke to be so well behaved and to listen to us during this time. Even now they can NEVER be left alone together even for a few seconds because that's when he will take advantage of our absence and connect with her.

Heat is over and everyone is back to normal 😊

Even when Stormy is in acceptance heat stage, Duke lessons to me when I say NO! The problem is if I'm not looking or when I'm away... then he gives in to his instincts.

Stormy's heat is on and they are being kept separated. We will not be breeding her this heat.

Introducing the cat we adopted to the dogs one at a time. Each dog has meet the cat and now having alone time with the cat individual. After they get comfortable we will then do two dogs at a time, then all three. The cat will never be left alone with the dogs for at least a year. So far so good 👍
