I am devastated & heartbroken! Life hit us with an unexpected blow that leaves us no choice, but to find new families our loving pack of dogs. Among the pack is our gorgeous Iko and his sister, rambunctious Juniper, full blooded, Black and Tan, Euro-American Dobermans. These two siblings are inseparable. They are both current on their vaccines and are intact. They are youngsters which will be 2 yo on Nov. 9.
Both are housebroken, crate trained, and just so much fun to be with. Iko is very energetic, he is loving (but not really a cuddler), while Juniper is a “tonka” girl, that after a long day doing her Dobie duties, enjoys snuggling on the couch. Juniper is a character! She is beyond smart and we believe she could be trained to do amazing feats. Iko is goofy, sensitive, and loyal. They are both well socialized with other dogs, and have never been around cats nor children. June and Iko have never shown any signs of aggression, not ever. We will take more pics of them tomorrow. The video below captures their relationship welI. We hope that if anyone is interested in offering June and Iko a home, they’ll understand that we will have a lot of questions in an effort to find a good fit for our Dobies. We will not pick a family at random. Anyone that is interested in making this pair a part of their family is asked to PM with details on the settings they have, reason for wanting them, and a brief description of what their daily routine would look like.

Iko and Juniper are very healthy; and they are not to be bred as they are carriers of an undesirable trait.
Never in a million years did I envision that we would ever have to break our pack apart. My heart is shriveling!

We are doing this bc we have no choice and not bc we want to.

We haven’t posted in a while. Iko (Pablo), in spite of having grown in Florida, is loving the snow. Juniper continues to adore being outside, regardless of the weather, and must be persuaded to return home. Rosie, romps in the snow and looks like a bunny. Valley is at home in the snow. Jakk, as long as he has his toy, is happy anywhere. Yoshi, only goes outside for 2-3 minutes tops. Knightly has mixed feeling regarding the snow. It seems he likes it best when the snow has freshly fallen.

These are our adorable “Snow-dobes”, Juniper, Pablo, and Calypso. Was able to capture Juniper catching snowflakes. The fresh snow is mounds of fun for them.

We have guests! On the right is Gemini, one of our Spice of Life pups, and her best bud, Archie. They will be vacationing with us this week. They are adjusting well with our pack. It is a true pleasure to have them with us!

Juniper is just Juniper. She cares not for any of her toys; with the exception of Jakk’s toy. That nasty thing she takes away from him and taunts him. Other than that, she hands-down prefers a soda bottle! Quirky I say! Look at how she sits on the sofa! That can’t be comfortable, but she does it all the time! I can’t help but to laugh with her antics! I love my June-P!

My goofy Dobies. These girls are so much fun and keep us on our toes. Juniper cannot be convinced that our shoes belong indoors. She has made it her goal to relocate our shoes, among other things, to the yard. Kalypso is not participant, however, enjoys the mischiefs. Juniper and Kalypso are the best of friends!

I dedicate this song to all the “Spice of Life” family members. Sometimes we hit bumps along the road. Please know that if any one of you ever has a situation where you are unable to care for your Spice we can step up and help. If you are having difficulty caring for your Spice Dobie while you’re working through hard times then give me a call. If you are unable to cover care costs no payment will be expected. You would have to provide transportation we’d take care of the rest! If our taking care of a little Spice for 1-2 months can ensure they will reunite with you again, then… can count on me! If you need a permanent home for your Spice you can also give us a call. If we are unable to keep the pup permanently we will eagerly work to find the pup a loving home! No questions as to “why” you need help will be asked. You can count on our empathy and discretion.
