Happy belated Mama’s Day, darlings! ❤️

This past Friday Molly and I sporadically saddled up the in Virginia and pointed our arrow south towards Florida to surprise Mom for Mother’s Day. Mom was literally stunned, silent and completely still when we walked in their condo. Her reaction was a little scary but after the initial shock wore off there were LOTS of smiles, hugs and we were soon consumed with chatting. Meanwhile Dad snuck off into the kitchen and turned the surprise back on me by making me breakfast. I can’t ever remember Dad making breakfast, or any meal minus meat on the grill - - but probably because Mom wouldn’t let him. That woman is a cooking queen. Talk about melt my heart = blueberries + brown sugar + oats ❤️🌱☀️
