The rain has been falling nonstop since last night. Hurricane Helene is bringing the much needed moisture with a flair for overkill! Just finished clearing some of my previously dug drainage ditches so that the horse pens drain better. Supposed to clear up this weekend, which both my head and horsss will appreciate 😩

So proud of this young c**t at his first show under saddle!
Not only did he complete his first western Dressage test and Ranch Riding pattern but he also took home a second in a HUGE In Hand Trail 3+ class!

I finally got the last of the pasture fenced off so I let the boys out for a romp and a munch. Needless to say, I think they like the new digs!!

It’s been a fantastic weekend at the East Coast Feathered Horse Show in Lexington, VA hosted by Buckeye Equestrian Events and Duane Stutzman! We’ll be sharing results soon, but suffice it to say, we are very proud of Tommy and Strider after their first east coast show!! 💕💕
