CUTEST PUPPIES EVER ALERT:) These precious pups are 6 weeks old. Their mom is a Great Pyrenees and the dad is unknown. We are thinking maybe St Bernard because of the coloring- but don't really know for sure.

The are rolly-polly bundles of love- They have and will continue to be well socilaized- Thet are eating really well and loves to be handled-

Puppy Falcon has a pending adopter, and although we have received several applications already, the other 3 are still available/

The will be ready to go home at the end of this month-

They currently weigh about 10 pounds and will likely be large fluffy adults

LOKI is a typical busy Pembroke Corgi- This little dude was surrendered to us because his senior owner did not have the time to handle an active dog. Sadly the poor guy was left outsdie 24/7

He is playful, friendly and intelligent- He is 3-4 years old and does not have an aggressive bone in his body- We are working on leash training him as well as nailing down his housebreaking- He is getting there!!

He is currently at the ranch where he is beng introduced to lots of dogs and other animals- He is confident and curious and ready to play.

He requires a home ready for a playful energic guy - He is endlesly entertaining and will make a great addition to an active family

Say hello to the adorable LULU (aka Lola Louise) This sweetheart of a girl is about 2 years old- She is maybe a Havanee/poodle mix?
She has a beautiful thick wavy coat and beautiful soulful eyes-

She was found by a local rescuer who asked for our help- She is with a foster now and is crate trained (loves to be in there in her bed with door open-

She is housebroken, walks so well on the leash that you forget she is there- She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes- She MUCH prefers humans to dogs and will sit in your lap all day of you let her-

She seems a bit stressed out in large crowds (Farmer's market on Sat.), but is perfect with new people one on one

She barks when she wants out of her crate, but otherwise is very quiet-

She will be spayed next week and will be ready for her forever family

Little HAMILTON was found along with 3 other dogs roaming the aisles of Home Depot in Houston, A neighbor rescued him and 3 other pups and asked for our help.

Hamilton looks to be an Australian shepherd/border collie mix. At 3 months old , he weighs about 15 pounds- He is very confident and friendly and does well with other dogs.

His foster is working on his housebreaking, but he does fine in the crate and even walks well on a leash-

He is active and playful and will do well in a home with other dogs, kids and a yard to romp in- He is a great family dog.

Zoe is a 5 year old poodle mix who was surrendered to TTR as her family was no longer able to care for her-

She is with a foster now where she is settling in nicely- She is heartworm negative, housetrained and loves to be carried- She is a bit shy, but is warming up more every day.

She will do well in a house with or without dogs, and we prefer a "non- chaotic" environment for her as she is a bit on the low key side-

Say hello to little Fernanda-

Fernanda is a 3 month old maltipoo/terrier mix- She was found as a stray and given to us by a local rescuer

She is a feisty, active little girl who gets along with all dogs- She currently resides with several other dogs, both large and small and loves to play with all of them.

She is very active when outside playing, but settles right down to eat and sleep in her playpen.

She loves being snuggled and is happy to be carried around, her little face firmly snuggled into your neck-

She is not a barker, has ZERO aggression of any kind and will do well in any setting- Suggest no small kiddis as she only weighs a bout 8 pounds-

He is kennel trained. He happily “Kennels” on command. He will use a potty pad in his puppy pen but happily will do his business outside. He is a happy go lucky little love! His neuter is scheduled for next week so he is almost ready for his forever home!!!

Introducing Trooper
He is a scruffy little guy who is just 9 lbs and could stand to gain a pound or two. He is young we are guessing 12 -16m range. He is paper trained and will go outside to potty. He is a sweet boy and likes to play with the other dogs. He is superior in the snuggling department!
He recently arrived so we are getting to know him at his foster where he interacts with dogs of all ages and sizes. We are accepting application for him!

We think she is a Shepherd/Retriever mix. She is loving and brave. She would do great with school aged kids.

Lissa is a cute 4-5 month old mixed breed puppy weighing 22lbs. She is very smart and would do well in an active home. A canine companion,or play dates with large or small dogs would nice as she enjoys play time.
She loves the water and is a natural as she has webbed paws. She will snuggle for puppy naps or to watch TV.
She is doing well with her potty training and knows the sit and settle command.
She is quite independent at times but loves to be with her people.
She is inquisitive and a fenced yard is a must for her to explore and play. Lissa is very social and never meets a stranger!

She will be an amazing loyal, loving addition to your life!

Say hello to Harleigh and Carleigh- These beautiful girls are about 6 months old and currently weigh about 45 pounds- so count on them to be prety large girls

Their mom is a standard poodle and their dad is a Great Pyrenees.

They were originally purchased to guard the chickens, but they were more interested in chasing them than guardinbg them, so the owner decided to hand them over to rescue.

They are almost identical twins- The have the same sweet temperament though I would say that Carleigh is a bit more outgoing- They both have very calm, affectionate demeanors and behaved perfectly while they were bathed-

They had a HUGE time running and playing in the mud puddles the day after their bath- and did really well with the new dogs they met-

These girls are gems- We have not tested them with cats- They are fine with kids and other dogs and are working on leash training and basic commands

Photos dont do justice to their soft beautiful curly bright white coats!! Stunning and sweet as they can be

Meet MARLEY- 6 weeks old- lab mix? who loves to wrestle and has the softest coat ever-

This once discarded pup is now with a great foster and will be available for adoption soon- She currently weighs about 8 pounds and is a little sweetheart-
She is a beautiful girl with one blue eye and one brown eye- She is a little fluff ball and a born leader- She is the most confident of the gang and she loves to wrestle with her brother- She loves toys and is always up for a good game of tug of war- She is a voracious eater and makes a beeline for her bowl at dinner time-

She is very food motivated which will make training her easy- She is confident and assertive but loves to be carried-

OCT 10- adopted

We have several new puppies in the rescue- Each is cuter than the last- so I will introduce them individuallly- This is little MOXIE (formerly Roxie)

She is a 6 week only catahoula mix- She is with a wonderful foster who tells us she is coming out of her shell- She was abandoned and rescued by the foster who tells us she was a bit fearful at first

She has a very sweet gentle personality and uper cute floppy ears. She likes to play quietly with hr toys and does not get into roughhouseing with her siblings- She is very smart and goes off on her own to use the potty outside-

She will be a loyall medium sized sweetheart who loves to be with her people

She has been wormed and received her first set of vaccines and will be available for adoption in 2-3 weeks

Great Dane lovers Look at this beautiful boy- Kal and his "baby momma" and their 5 offspring were surrendered to the rescue about 3.5 months ago- The last of the babies was adopted today!!

We are now looking homes for mom and dad- Kal is a 3 year old Great Dane and was used for breeding- He is over 170 pounds of muscle and will need someone familiar with giant breeds-

His "owners" kelp him outside for the the few months before we got them and we have been working with him on leash training- He does not potty in his run and is quick to learn new routines.

He is VERY loyal and would do really well with a family with another large dog or as an only

He needs some basic obedience training but is a sweet boy eager to find a home of his own

How adorable are Lane and Vera?
This litttle nuggets (Lane - male -bigger pup on left) and Vera on the right were being sold on the side of the road when our good friend Mary Kate saved them- They are about 6 weeks old and we think they are Rottie/shepherd mixes- We do not know anything about their parents-

They weigh about 7-8 pounds right now and will probably be medium- large dogs-

The have had their first set of vaccines and will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks-

For now they are with a foster and are sweet cuddle bugs

This is Howie- the true definition of a gentle giant-

Howie is a 3 year old Anatolian Shepherd/Greta Pyreenees Mix- He was been withthe rescue for several months as we initially put him through training to be a therapy dog- He sailed through his Canine Good CItizen class and was ready to go to work- Sadly we did not have enough time to make the visits and continue to work with him

He weighs about 90 pounds and is a dream on a leash- He was exposed to all sorts of dogs, both large and small at the rescue as well as in his class- He gets along with everyone- He is SUPER affectionate and will give kisses if you let him- While he loves other dogs- he loves people even more-

He is low- medium energy - He loves a good long alk- but his favorite thing to do is to lie on his back in the bath tub- He often sleeps in there-

He is housetrained, and will only have an accident if not taken out to potty- He has never destroyed or chewed a thing and has no need at all for a crate-

We would like a house with a yard and a fence for this guy- He loves layingout on my deck and will bark to be let back inside or if he hears another dog barking over the fence- He never ever barks inside the house- A home with kids, dogs and a yard would be the perfect place for this giant love bug to land

All dogs have a story...................... Gretchen has a crazy one!!

Gretchen was brought to our attention back in February- She was part of a litter of pups found under a trailer- Age 3 weeks- mom- not present- She weighed 1.8 pounds!!!!

We took the litter and before long someone said they found the mom- We took her too.... but she was not the mom- though she did have milk- So now we had a lactating mom and 5 motherless pups-(no interest in each other)

Sep 22 ADOPTION PENDING

After a couple of weeks of feeding mush the pups seemed to be doing well- Gretchen was by far the smallest- and in fact to this day I think there were 2 litters- at about age 2 months we sent Gretchen and her sibling to a foster home- Within days, the sibling died suddenly and Gretchen was seizing- She spent a few days at Vergi and after a cocktail of anti seizure meds she was released to me- To this day we have no idea why she seized or why her brother died- The foster was devastated as were we-

Gretchen spent the next couple of months weaning off anti seizure meds- She never had another seizure (after leaving Vergi) and has been off meds for 5 months

She is super healthy and active and weighs about 16 pounds- She is housebroken and crate trained and gets along really well with other dogs- Her energy level is medium- She LOVES to play with other dogs and for sure will do best in an active home with other dogs- She is super friendly and affectionate and deserves the best life has to offer-

Meet our lastest intake- This is ALEJANDRA and she is STUNNING!!!

She was purchased as a puppy from a breeder who bred Maremmano sheepdogs with Great Pyrenees- They wanted "herding dogs"- and sold her for that purpose as a puppy-

The family who bough her had no fences and of course she wandered off again and again until she was rescued by a WONDERFUL woman who reached out to us

Alejandra is 1 yar 7 months old- She weighs 71 pounds- She is spayd, heartworm negative and UTD on all her shots- She has been AND WILL BE kept as an inside dog-

This is a unicorn my friends- She is good with kids, cats, and even chickens- She is medium energy and HOUSEBROKEN and waks well on a leash-

Say hello to stunning DIANA- Diana is a Great Dane who was surrendered to us along with her baby daddy. She was heavily pregmant-

Shortly after arriving she gave birth to 5 puppies who are now 9 weeks old and weaned-

Diana will be spayed next week and will be available for adoption shortly thereafter.

She weighs about 135 (guess) ande is a gorgeous steel grey color. It takes her a minute to warm up andf trust, but once she does she is like "velcro" She is housebroken and is working on walking gently on the leash. She is loving and affectionate and likes to give giant "hugs"

Would prefer someone with Dane experience, or at the very least giant dog experience- She will do well in a home with or without other dogs- No cats please-

The folks who surrendered her said all the neighborhood kids played with her, but we have not seen her around kids yet -

Wildness in the Chihuahua Nursery! Asher and Archer are having some rough house fun! These cute little chunks are now 7 weeks old and now 2 lbs!

Alister and Alousia have been amazing at parenting their boys together. Alousia has allowed Alister to be an active partner! The boys Asher and Archer are 5 weeks today! I walked in on family play time! 🥰💕❤️❤️
