We are a family who loves dogs. We started our bullmastiff journey in April of 2018.

We are striving to breed sound, healthy, beautiful dogs for other families to enjoy.

Our sweet little babies are 6 weeks old! I just love watching their personalities bloom. They are handling all of their weekly challenges so well! They are sweet, forestry and in true bullmastiff fashion.. STUBBORN! haha Thankfully, they will do just about anything for a treat! 🥰

I’m not sure who is more worn out from showing at the River City Show Cluster… the pups or me! 🤣 Everyone showed a lot of improvement, especially for now having been to a how in a while. We loved cheering on our friends and I’m so thankful for the community and support we have found here in Texas! Little Potato even went in at only 6 months old, although she definitely did NOT enjoy it. 😔 We will give her some time and bring her back when she’s a little older. 🥰

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the Heart of Texas Labrador Retriever Club for hosting such an incredible health clinic today! We had a blast and everyone was so nice!

We are also extremely excited to be able to now say that EVERY SINGLE dog, over 12 months of age, in our program, has now had their hips and elbows (prelims or permanents depending on age), Echos and Eyes recorded! This has been our goal for a long time and we are so excited we were finally able to get everyone in! With very limited cardiologist in NC, we were beyond thrilled to be able to find a clinic so close to home! 🥰
Here’s to many more HEALTHY babies coming soon! 🥂

Edited to add: Glimmer has now found her perfect home and will soon be moving to Mississippi! 🥰

Glimmer went to work with me on Friday! I have no idea how she is still available. She has the best personality, an amazing square body and her head… 🥰🥰
She was loved on and adored by dozens of swim kids yesterday and even willingly went into the pool all by herself.

Glimmer is still waiting for her perfect family.

When you give your mom a guilt trip because the new puppies are getting all your attention… you earn yourself a “take your pup to work day”! Which… if your mom is a swimming instructor, that means a swim lesson for you too! 🤣🤣

We had the best time showing Pieper and Ember in Ft Worth this past weekend. We met new friends, got to hang out with show friends that we never get to see enough and learned so much!

Show days with this kid are my absolute favorite!

Day 1 of Bluebonnet Cluster in Kerrville gave us some ups and downs.

Barb’Eric’s Piece of The Pie for Reigning Rose “Pieper” did amazing and took WB for a 3 point major. We are so proud of her!

Reigning Rose’s Too Hot to Handle “Ember” went second in her class and gave Rylan a hard time but I am determined to get her through this fear period.

Thank you to Judge Polly Smith for finding Pieper in a beautiful lineup!

I was so anxious and excited to bring this boy out to his first show! He ended up being the only class dog but I am still so so proud of how well he did! He officially has my heart and I can’t wait to watch him capture others hearts as well!

I couldn’t be prouder of how well Pieper did in Dallas taking 1st in her class 2 of the 3 days! She’s really finding her groove and starting to hit maturity. I’m thankful to Barb and Eric Long for trusting me with this girl! I have big big plans for her! 🥰

If you were in Dallas this weekend, you witnessed the most tender hearted, sweet, caring, empathetic, dog show loving little nine year old boy have a hard weekend. If you remember this dynamic duo was coming off a big high from their first ever show taking that 4 point major in Conroe, Tx. Their handling trainer will attest, they have an incredible bond and are usually very in sync. Ember turned 1 on Wednesday and on Thursday we headed to Dallas. They entered the ring on Friday and Ember went berserk when the judge approached her. Rylan was confused and flustered and it broke my momma heart. He had grandparents there watching as well as what he calls his “show friends” (other adults that are extremely supportive of him and his show career) that he admitted to me on the way home today that he felt like he disappointed and let down. He feels like he let Ember down. I believe Ember entered a fear period and while we wanted to be able to work through it this weekend, she’s going to need time to get back to her normal self. To the judges that saw my little boy struggle in the ring… THANK YOU! Thank you for your patience and support during this ordeal. Rylan is a sensitive kid and nothing has ever come easy to him, but he LOVES this sport and these dogs! Your actions could have been very different (rightfully so, it was hard to watch) and it would have most likely crushed him and ended his desire to show. So thank you for everything!

To the on lookers and handlers that chose to voice your frustration… we heard you. HE heard you. He heard that he shouldn’t be handling a dog that outweighs him by 40lbs. He heard that they had no business being in the ring. He heard that it was obvious the dog was untrained. 😩

We had 4 hours on the way home to talk about fear periods, why they happen and how to work through them. We talked about his feelings where he told me that he feels like a joke and like he let everyone down. We cried and I listened to him tell me that Mario was just a little plumber who had nothing until he went to mushroom land (I’ll admit, this caught me off guard but stay with me) where he finally caught a break and became a hero. He told me that he was tired of being small and just wants to fit in somewhere. I was able to bring up all the adversities that Mario faced and how he never gave up and worked his tail off to become the hero, but he got beat down a lot before he made it. We now know what we need to work on. We will get through it and I have no doubt that they will come through this stronger and closer! I am so proud of his perseverance this weekend. I hate that he had to find out this early on how ugly the dog show world can be but we are just going to chalk this up to a great life lesson.

I truly can’t wait to see what these two accomplish!

This week has been one big blur of sleep deprivation and the most sweetest snuggles in the entire world. These little babies have captured our hearts and it’s safe to say the whole family is quite smitten. The kids are already fighting over which one we will keep. 😨🤣😂
