The Mission of Mailman’s Mutts is:
To rescue abandoned and unwanted animals, provide proper medical care, and adopt them to loving homes while educating the community about the critical need of spaying and neutering their pets. To foster, develop and promote the elimination of animal cruelty and suffering; to facilitate placement of animals into appropriate environments through the adoption proces

s; to educate and encourage responsible pet ownership with emphasis on spaying/neutering to reduce overpopulation; to provide temporary safe shelter for animals in need; and overall, to demonstrate respect and kindness towards animals in, but not limited to, Etowah County. To do all things necessary and incident to promote the general social, benevolent, and charitable works of the corporation. To do all things and engage in all activities that fall within the scope of Internal Revenue Code §501(c), and within the scope of such rulings and regulations interpreting such code section.

Please help us move toward 2025 with a bang! We are devoting our efforts toward spaying and neutering as many pets as we possibly can in 2025 in an attempt to move toward a no kill community. Will you consider donating on Giving Tuesday to help us build our Spay/Neuter fund? This is the only way we are going to be the change we wish to see. The number of unwanted dogs and cats in our area is overwhelming and there is no end in sight. Our efforts will be focused on turning off the breeding faucet by helping community members get their pets spayed and neutered. So, you can be part of the solution by giving today! EARLY NOTICE: Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 3rd. Please be thinking forward as to how you would like to support charity on this best day of the year when everyone is in unity to make the world a better place. We hope Mailman's Mutts will be a part of your consideration when giving. We helped some 179 dogs and cats in 2023 alone. To continue this work, we depend on your support. We are short a few items for rescues in foster care under Mailman's Mutts. If you can, please consider purchasing an item we need for the large rescues we have been doing lately. Here is the link to the entire list, but we really need the Greenies pill pockets (multiple bags needed for 3 heartworm positives-pics in comments), (1) stainless bucket and the food bowls now. We are ok on other items in the list. Thank you so much for supporting our work!

Looking for happiness and beauty in your life? Tanner is both and she is looking for her "furever" person(s). 8 mths old, fully vetted and healthy, SWEET! Pesters kitties but not with deadly intent.
