It was a great evening at the Alabama 4-H Center to celebrate volunteers who choose to help the next generation by becoming a 4-H Volunteer Leader and giving back to an organization that gives so much. It was an honor to be recognized and great to spend an evening with my family.

We will be closing at 12:00PM on Friday December 13. Dr. Marks is receiving an award at the Alabama 4-H Center. She will not be available for emergencies.

We will open as normal 8:30-12:30 on Saturday December 14.

Thank you so much for all of you that came to visit us and adopted a dog or cat. This adoption event was a success. 9 animals in total got adopted. Thank you again for given them a loving home.

Loki has been sponsored. Y’all come adopt him. He is a Siberian husky mix, 2 years old, black and white. Been with us since may 2024!

Sasha, Charlie, Carley, Carmella and Nancy (cat) have been adopted.

Update on Carmella ( black German shepherd) she is 4 years old been with us almost a year and Charlie is 5-6 years old, been with us almost 2 years (American bullie mix). They both have been sponsored. So please come adopted them, Charlie is on the far left. 5-6 years old. Sweet baby. Carmella is next to Charlie. She is 4 years old. Very sweet and energetic.

Tomorrow is Newt’s Birthday and he will be turning 9! Newt is not only Dr. Marks running buddy but also our blood donor. Newt has saved countless lives over the years! Help us celebrate Newt!
