A great reminder - always consider pain as a possibility!

A great reminder - always consider pain as a possibility!

Hannah got Holly when she was just 16 weeks old. She was one of two collie puppies needing a new home, and from the moment Hannah adopted her, they were inseparable. Together, they moved around the country, lived in Germany for a while, and shared countless adventures.

It was many years before Holly started to show any issues. While they were living in Germany, she began reacting negatively to loud noises. Hannah sought advice from multiple experts, but no one mentioned pain as a possibility.

Hannah tried everything to remedy the noise phobia, but it stayed with Holly until she became deaf in later life.
Assuming it was just a result of their lifestyle or Holly’s collie nature, Hannah focused on managing their situation rather than addressing the root cause.
It wasn’t until much later that she realized Holly’s noise phobia was actually a sign she had been in pain all along.

Pain in dogs often shows up in ways we don’t expect—even as behavior changes. Always consider pain as a possibility ❤️‍🩹

Another amazing success story thanks to one of our incredible partners, Southtown Veterinary Hospital. What a great way to kick off the new year—we love seeing dogs like Marlis get back to happy and thriving!

Marlis, a 12 year old beautiful mixed breed recently received bilateral intra-articular injections of Synovetin OA to help alleviate the pain of osteoarthritis. Last update, she was running around like she was years ago and enjoying her days.

No need to go to Ithaca or Allentown to help your dog with OA pain. Call us today. 570-278-9210.

With Synovetin OA, one simple treatment is all it takes to give your dog up to afull year of osteoarthritis pain relief.

Synovetin OA is dosed directly into the painful joint. There, it targets the source of inflammation that causes lameness, limping, and drives the pain and progression of osteoarthritis.

Synovetin OA is unique in that it treats only the affected joint(s) and is not absorbed into your dog’s body like traditional dog arthritis drugs and treatments. Synovetin OA is non-systemic. You can be confident that treatment with Synovetin OA is safe for relieving arthritis pain in dogs and causes no systemic side effects like those that can occur other treatments.

🐅 Throwing it back to one of our most remarkable patients: Hakim, the tiger from Sunset Zoo. Swipe to see his before and after footage - it’s like night and day!

In April of this year, Hakim was treated with Synovetin OA® to help manage his joint pain. 9 months later, he’s doing great and moving more comfortably, proving how effective this treatment can be—even for a tiger. While Synovetin OA® is specially designed for dogs, this unique case highlights just how impactful it can be when it comes to improving joint health.

This treatment was studied in canine elbows and can only be given by veterinarians at hospitals licensed in nuclear medicine. Temporary discomfort in the treated elbow of some dogs has been reported. Pet owners are provided instructions to moderate proximity to the treated joint for a short period of time following treatment. For more information, talk with your veterinarian or visit activedognow.com/cpinfo.
