Charles isn't doing well. 😔 He was fine the other day, now he won't eat, barely moving, not getting up... we have been giving him kitten formula by syringe, but we need to get him to the vet. With 26 rescues, it's becoming harder and harder to care for them ourselves. God knows we would, without complaint- but feeding them the bare minimum takes most of our income alone. So, Ensign was struggling the most with the arrival of our newest litter- he was really afraid of them (lol) and wouldn't even stay in the same room, he was too uncomfortable. But, as you can see, as he cuddles with two of our little clams, they are thick as thieves now! We are very happy. 🐈‍⬛️ Ensy is such a good baby boy.

Four new babies!!!! Poor Pearl was pregnant, sadly even though she sleeps inside (in our bed) she still insisted on giving birth outside. Thankfully, she finally brought her litter home!!! They are inside now, getting used to their new home and *all* of their new siblings! Pearl's last litter of kittens all died horrible deaths. We were able to find one, and raced him to an emergency vet, but it was too late. We so badly want to prevent anymore litters or suffering. Please help us get Pearl fixed. 🙏 We have several females who are not spayed and even more boys who are not neutered. It costs a LOT of money to keep them all fed and cared for, so any donation, whether a can or food given to us locally, or a $1 - makes a difference. He is always getting into everything. Lol. -Max is one of the 2 little angels (his sister was with him) that we found in a Burger King parking lot. It had just finished pouring rain and we heard kittens crying, we called out and spotted them across the street- they came running straight to us, and let us touch them. They were tiny, just babies (planning to share a video of them on that day) - we looked for a Mother cat but they seemed to be alone, so we ploped them in the car and brought them home. We absolutely believe it was meant to be. They fit into our family like perfect little gloves. We love them so very much, and couldn't imagine our life without them. This sweet, sweet girl always comes running when she hears our car pull in the driveway. Sometimes, she gets too excited and jumps on the car, waiting for us to get out, and then she always follows us inside. Our angel, Pearl. 🖤 She is one of our biggest successes, in my opinion. I remember when she was too terrified to let me near her. She came to us starving, and cried for food but was too scared to come close (she was pregnant at the time as well) - she would stay under the porch and I remember the first time I touched her, while she was busy eating. She backed up and looked at me. Shocked and confused. It's wild to compare that to the way she is now. :) She loves to be held. She is the best cuddler. She pushed her head into our necks and just loves to be hugged. She is so affectionate. Before Pearl came to us, and found the family she was meant to be with, she was overlooked by this world. She was abused and her ears were bleeding and raw, she was hungry and neglected by all of us, really. This is the real purpose for our passion in helping as many of these (numerous!!) strays that fill the streets in our city alone. They are all innocent little animals, in need of humans to take responsibility for them, love for them and meet their needs. That is our job as the alpha species. That is our view.
