TODAY!!! Boom-phobic dog plan in action - call in your dog's Rx if noise is a problem. Get those CBD chews. Write your phone # on your dog's chest or belly with a sharpie so if the collar comes off they can still get home. THE SHELTERS ARE FULL! If someone finds your dog, they'll have nowhere to take them.

PHF could use a chest freezer. Find their donation link in the Comments.

With temperatures rising, we would like to have a chest freezer. A chest freezer would allow our volunteers to make treats--like kongs stuffed with yummies--and freeze them. These frozen treats then can be given to our dogs who live in the kennels as enrichment but also to help them cool down on these hot days!

You can either donate a working chest freezer or donate funds to help us purchase a freezer. Our pups thank you! 😅

Truth! Please dont overlook the Mama's. They didnt ask for those saggy b***s. Same thing happens to cats, too ... all their cute kittens get adopted & the Mama waits years in foster.

A lot of the female dogs that come into shelters have been overbred and have the telltale signs of having nursed way too many puppies. People make comments about this condition, often passing them by. If these Mommas could talk....😅

Auntie Groomer Eva has been using Pupsicle for a couple of years now. They hold up very well, even with a mouthy heeler mix and champion licker chihuahua. Each Pupsicle, designed especially to keep frozen treats contained, comes with a DIY treat mold. Our fave recipe is peanut butter & plain Greek yogurt with blueberries! Licking activities are great mental stimulation 😁

Sista, Head & Abo are the most At Risk dogs right now ... all 3 have multiple pledges - including from our shop - to rescues who might pull them. Please consider adopting or fostering. Bradford is full & several of these dogs are already spay/neutered and are good with other dogs.

THIS is why we encourage you to get puppies started with grooming as soon as possible, and why we give you the "homework" of randomly holding their chins & feet in return for a treat. The positive reinforcement at home of what happens in grooming keeps this video from being your dog 😆
