⭐️KC is our JANUARY employee of the month! KC has been with us for almost a full year now and we are so happy to have her!

💜MADISON & PEEWEE celebrated their 5 YEAR anniversary with us here at Independence . Time flies when you're havin' fun! They are such a staple to our staff and we don't know what we would ever do without them.

❤️DR. BAYER : celebrated her Birthday on the 17th AND recently celebrated her 16 year anniversary with us here at Independence. We are so lucky she is still apart of our team and deserves the world.

PSA - To start, we have an incredible team here at Independence. This morning we had a lot going on (I had a client that fell, we had a full book of appointments and 2 emergencies). We had a gentleman come in for his appointment as the last emergency was arriving. We told him another emergency just came in so it will be a bit of a wait. He was fine with that. My doctor got the last ER stabilized and referred to get ER surgery. She walks in to see this gentleman's dog. He was standing up when she walked in and exchanged words with my doctor, (who was in the room ready to see his pet.) On his way out HE THREW A ZIP LOCK BAG, WITH AN E-COLLAR, AT MY RECEPTIONIST. This is not acceptable! We cannot control emergencies, all we can do is inform our clients that we are handling one. If the owner doesn't have time in his/her schedule to wait, we won't waste more time and we can reschedule them. I would like to remind everyone, we offer respect and kindness to all of our clients (and patients), I don't think it is to much to ask for kindness back. This is a really tough job, I don't need anyone throwing things at my staff. In closing, I'm sure if we were seeing your pet for an emergency, you would be thankful that we put that as top priority. The Golden Rule - to behave towards others in the same way you would like them to behave towards you. From Diana Garrison, Hospital Manager.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We will be CLOSED Thursday, 11/28/24 for Thanksgiving to allow our staff to enjoy the holiday with their families. We will resume regular business hours Friday, 11/28/24 8 am to 5 pm.

We would like to recognize Lyndsey Bailey Smith as our newest Employee of the Month. Lyndsey is a Licensed Oklahoma Veterinary Technician and is currently working to obtain her Texas license, she has been with us since 2021. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lyndsey is dedicated to spending quality time with her daughter and advocating passionately for the wellbeing of her patients.
