🐾❤️These silly siblings, Bella and Nugget, are Boxers. Keep reading below to learn more about this amazing breed⤵️

🥊Boxers are a medium to large-sized dog breed known for their distinctive appearance, playful personality, and loyalty. Originating in Germany in the late 19th century, Boxers were bred from the now-extinct Bullenbeisser, a mastiff-type dog, and were later crossed with Bulldogs. Initially used as hunting dogs for large game like boar and deer, they eventually transitioned to roles as working dogs due to their strength, intelligence, and versatility. Boxers gained popularity globally in the 20th century, particularly in the United States, where they became beloved family companions and service dogs.

🥊One of the most recognizable features of the Boxer is its athletic build. They have a square, muscular frame with a broad chest and powerful legs, built for endurance and agility. Their expressive faces, characterized by a strong jaw, a short muzzle, and large, soulful eyes, are often coupled with a unique furrowed brow that gives them a curious or concerned look. Boxers come in a variety of coat colors, including fawn, brindle, and white, often with distinctive white markings.

Here’s a quick guide to ensure your pets stay happy and healthy during the festivities:

🚫 Foods to Avoid:

Turkey bones & skin (can cause choking or upset stomach)

Stuffing & gravy (often contain onions, garlic, and spices toxic to pets)

Desserts (especially chocolate or anything with xylitol)

Alcohol (even a little can be dangerous)

Raw dough (it can expand in their stomach)

Don’t forget to keep the trash secure and watch for curious noses around the table!

✅ Pet-Safe Alternatives:

A small piece of plain turkey (no skin or seasoning)

Cooked green beans, carrots, or sweet potatoes

A spoonful of plain pumpkin puree (great for digestion!)
