Poor Hudson, needs out of the kennels and into a foster home. Please consider fostering or if you can't foster spread the word.
K-9 Lifesavers has many dogs in need of fosters so they can see what life is like in a real home.
When you foster a dog, you help that dog find it's forever home quicker and then you can foster another dog so it too can find it forever home. and you can save so many dogs thru fostering.
I know you will say well "how can I give a dog up after having fostering it".......just go into foster knowing that the more dogs you foster, the more dogs will find their forever homes. AND should you decide that you really really can't live without your foster, then adopt it.....
You can still foster even if you have found the one you can't live without....and when you bring in a new foster, the new foster will also a 4 legged friend to show them the ways of a family dog.
Hudson is approximately one and half, 45 -50 pounds and is a super cute Retriever mix. He is a strong, and playful boy that has been with us for 10 months.
He is having a hard time at the kennel but for the few days that he was in a home, he did extremely well. The constant barking and noises at the kennel are causing poor Hudson to feel stressed and anxious. We would really love to get him into a foster home until he finds his permanent home.
When in a home, Hudson is pretty great! He is house trained, respects the rules and does not get into things like food or cords. He is so happy to be in a home that he doesn’t try to run away, even if the door is left open. Hudson loves to cuddle and play and is desperately craving love and cuddles.
He does well with most dogs, but we would recommend a mindful, controlled introduction to ensure a successful adjustment.
Hudson can get spooked easily by new sounds, but once he is introduced to the new sound or situation, he adjusts quickly. He is a curious pup who is ready to explore the world once he has a sense of safety. Please take him home for the Holidays!
