Milling season is in full blast! This past week we put in another 20+ hours on the woodmizer! We visited some former customers from Wyoming IL, and milled some beautiful walnut and cherry slabs! At home base, we milled a few curly maples from Galesburg, IL and one of the biggest walnut 🌲 to date, with 35” wide and 12’ long!! 🤩

We did a small but fun project for a returning customer! 🤝 This black walnut table was originally part of a salvaged log from Abington, Illinois! Now it will make a great addition to a camper!! 🏕️

We had the opportunity to work with Dr. Katchen on a very special project! 🤩 After having to remove two white oak trees from her backyard, she was able to salvage the large trunks.
We received a call back in August of 2023 for a project that would involve building a few special pieces for her family. We understood the assignment and how special this was for Dr. Katchen. We immediately got to work and salvaged as much of the trunks as we could. 🪵 Fast-forward a few months later, Dr. Katchen received six beautiful coffee tables and six charcuterie boards to gift to her loved ones. ♥️ Now a piece of her will live with them forever.

Took advantage of the great weather ☀️ this weekend and pulled the out to mill a large inventory of local walnut! This beautiful wood came directly from and will be used for more local projects!

We love getting Before and Afters from our customers! 🤩 This client was ready of a mantle upgrade! They picked out a live edge, black oak slab from our inventory and the result is beautiful!
