and Libby Lucinda were been sisters and best friends from April 2013 until Bailey went to the Rainbow Bridge in October 2015. Ellie joined the canine crew in September 2014. Winnie joined in February 2016. All have been living in harmony (most of the time) ever since. Libby Lucinda is a Border Collie mix born on September 19, 2012. Libby was rescued from an ill-fate as a 7 month old pup, and is th
ankful every day to have a chance to live a long life! She may be the youngest of the bunch, but she is a dominant, old soul. Libby loves to sunbathe in the backyard. She also feels the need to escape the confines of her own backyard sometimes. She doesn't try to conceal her getaways, though, as she simply jumps the 4 ft. When she's not performing acrobatics outside, she might be found inside napping on the bed. Ellie Elizabeth is a full-blooded Chow Chow, and is Bailey's birth mom. Ellie found herself in need of a new home in Fall 2014, and Bailey and Libby were kind enough to take her in. Ellie loves her new home and has proven that she is the best of the sisters at following directions. She is sweet and cuddly, but shouldn't be mistaken for a pushover! She's a guard dog at heart. Ellie doesn't bother herself with things/people/animals in which she is not interested. She just turns up her nose and minds her own business! Winnie Cooper is a full blood Great Pyrenees and is the baby, since she was only born in March 2015. At 100 pounds, though, you'd never know it. She enjoys playing outside and chewing sticks and walnut shells. Winnie is extremely clumsy and uncoordinated but loves to run and play anyway. She is a gentle, sensitive soul and would do anything to avoid conflict. Bailey Beatrice was a Chowbrador (Chow Chow-Labrador mix) born on June 23, 2011. She may have been Libby's older sister, but she was definitely the baby of the bunch! She was a high-energy, free spirited pup known for her astonishing escape tactics. She liked to play and run in the yard. Sometimes, when she felt like the chain-link fence was closing in on her, she couldn't resist the urge to find a way out into the world. She loved the amazing sights, sounds and smells of the neighborhood beyond her own yard. Bailey was truly a kid who loves to feel the wind in her hair. When she wasn't wreaking havoc in the neighborhood, you might have found her in one of her favorite spots...stuffed under the bed.
