The moment she realized Mama’s definition of a car ride was a setup. 🫣

June Bug is smart as a cricket! Her personality and good company is so good for the soul! I had to run errands this weekend and took her along for the ride…but she didn’t know she couldn’t go inside (I had to set up the fellowship hall at the church) 🤣 Mama said, “Take her with you…it’s the closest she’ll ever come to getting baptized.” 😂

Soon as we pulled up, June looked out the window. I told her to sit and I’d be back soon. My baby settled right in real cozy in the passenger seat and took a nap! It was raining so I know she slept good!

Lord, thank You for gifting us with the good company of a dog. We know You love us to give us such amazing creatures to bring sunshine on a rainy day ♥️

🫶 BANNY 🫶

Banny loves riding shotgun! One surefire way to know she’s a Lockhaven Boykin is the fact that she doesn’t know she’s a dog 😂

I’m kidding! (Not really 🤣) In our experience with Boykins, we find each dog to be so versatile — if you want him to hunt, he’ll bring a duck to you 🦆 or a dove, pheasant, quail — even track a deer!

If you want a cuddle bug to keep you company and teach your sweet babies about the love between a man and his dog, get a Boykin!

In every scenario, we find Boykins to be our perfect fit! Grateful all our days to God for blessing us with the opportunity to spend our days with Little Brown Dogs 🥰

🐾 GAGE 🐾

This sweet boy is in his new, fur-ever home in Aiken, South Carolina. Gage is one of three boys from Juice x Jones.

Gage was the biggest baby Boykin from the start! He never missed a meal 🤣 which none did but when I tell you he was a healthy pup — he really looked like a chunky monkey! 🤗

Talk about PERSONALITY! This lil guy loves to play, romp and explore in true puppy fashion ♥️

Two years ago, we said goodbye to our spunky, sassy Janie as she said Hello! to a new life ✨of luxury✨

Ginger Bell and Dayle Grimsley pulled into our driveway to start a new Chapter with Janie. Boy was it hard to say goodbye! 😢 But I knew in my heart it was selfish of me to stand in the way of what I know now to be…God’s Perfect Plan.

Ginger and I hit it off instantly! She was recently divorced (like me) and was looking for a Boykin to keep her company (like me!)

Janie — in true fashion — has an independent, sassy personality. She’s small and petite but don’t let size fool you! She can hold her own 🤣 She once let a man know that just because she is cute didn’t mean he could put his hands all over her… You should have seen me trying to explain that to him! 🤪🤣🥴

Since Janie and Ginger became two peas in a pod, I get pictures like these I’m sharing with you! My heart overflows with joy! And I’m reminded just how much God loves us! I’m serious! He blesses us with the love from these dogs to bring smiles to our face, lift our spirits and serve as company in silence when we don’t have the words.

Thank you Lord for Ginger, Janie and all our Lockhaven Family! Your plan is always better than ours. Keep us mindful of Your love for us. Have a great Thursday, friends! Looks like Janie sure is! ♥️😘

This sweet boy will be so loved by his new sisters and family. Our hearts filled with joy meeting them at Puppy Pickup. The girls were already negotiating whose lap he sit on the ride home 🐶 Precious memories ♥️ We love our Lockhaven Family!
