This week we cleaned out the cages and put them in the freezer. 14 young roosters of mixed laying breeds and Orpingtons with cleaned weights ranging from 2 to 3 gave us over 41 pounds of meat.

Don't be afraid to grow your own meat. The hardest part is waiting.
