Anyone else see two very strange dachshunds? Lola refuses to wear a sweater but gladly sqeezes herself into my sleeve and Frank has to be within eyesight of the street to protect us all from the Ohio River Geese 🤣

What to say about our breeding journey! We sought out this idea of breeding out of frustration of finding a reputable breeder to add to our family from. I did not know the profound impact it would have on myself, my family, our four-legged family, and how it would add so many of you to our lives. From the start, my goal was to raise dachshund babies as our own until they were added to your homes. That is how I wished to find babies for ourselves and that is how we wanted to bring babies to your family as well. I want all of you to know that if you have one of our babies, you are our extended family for life. I want you to know that your dog was not just a pet but part of our family for the weeks before they were added to yours. I held them as they slept, played with them and my children on our kitchen floor, pet them while we all watched TV together on the couch, and taught them that the outside was not a scary place.
Our last baby went to be with his forever family today. Many of you who have followed our journey know we are not planning anymore at this time. That does not mean something won't happen in the future to change our minds for our girls or our boy. That also does not mean the end of our journey as a fur family! I want to be a resource to you all and I want to be a fun place to share our blended families together ❤️ Lola, Frank, and Honey are the parents to your babies and we are always here for you in the good times and hopefully never tough times. Please always share funny stories, photos, travel, and laziness with us. Thank you all so much for your love and support the last few years.

I know we all love a good routine, especially our fur babies, but please remember the warning signs of heat strokes in dogs and how hot the ground can be even after the sun goes down. Let's keep our doggos cool, loved, and safe in this extra hot heat wave we are having ❤️🌞🫶

Our local groomer hosted an awesome Weiner dog race at the big 4th of July River Recreation Festival! Of course, Frank had his first race in the bracket alone, and was so distracted by the second race that he barely finished 🤣 We met so many wonderful we**ies yesterday! We are thankful to be in a wonderful community that also loves their dachshunds as much as we do♥️
We hope everyone had an amazing day yesterday!

Remember to test the sidewalk/street temps before walking your babies. Their little paws can get hot very fast!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIES🎉

Honey girl gave birth on Wednesday to 4 sweet tiny babies 🥰 They are all showing off their strong lungs and appetites! She decided to have them in our bedroom, so we've allowed her to stay there for a few days as it is where she feels most comfortable. Honey is so so happy but super protective! She's an amazing momma and we are so thrilled with how much she loves them ❤

3 boys, 1 girl. Chocolate is male. More pics to come once they're a little older!
