No matter what breed you are thinking about, its important to do research on the breed. Knowing what they were bred to do makes a big difference inwhat your expectations should be. For example: if you have children and you think you would like an austrailian shephard expect that the dog may nip at heals to make them move. That is how they move cattle and other livestock. If you are thinking that a golden retriever would be a great fit, its important to realize that retrievers will retrieve things. That means that they will take your items, they do not discriminate, if they can grab something, it now belongs to them. If you are thinking about a great dane, remember they were bred to hunt wild boar. That means they have a prey drive, especially when it comes to large animals. As an example, this is what Stormy was wanting to chase at 7am before I had my morning coffee.

Just so everybody knows we will not be having puppys this time around. We will hopefully be breeding with stormys next heat in 8 or 9 months. I have sent emails for everybody on my wait list, but wanted to post it here so everybody was aware.

When there is something that isnt where it is supposed to be she does 1 of 2 things. She either barks at it like she does when the trash cans are at the street instead of where they belong, or she hides from it until she thinks its safe to come out. The first 2 pictures are of her behind the couch because something wasnt where its supposed to be. The 3rd one is what freaked her out lol.

After a 5 hr shift at work today this is what happens to Stormy. She will be like this for the next 10 hrs. Training other dogs tires her out. Lol

If you are thinking about a dane, they are a wonderful breed, I dont think I could ever not have one in my life. There are some things you should know, they have 0 body awareness, especially with their heads and tails. This was an accidental head to the eye from Stormy. The pictures are 9ver the first 5 days. Thank god she is cute.
