Meet the pack Monday: Boo

Boos family has tons of nicknames for him but here are a few: Booboos Boo’ster B***y b***y rockin everywhere (our favorite).

He is the sweetest 6 years old rottie mix boy. His moms favorite thing about him is that he seems to understand human emotions and is even in tune to them on TV and movies. She said growls at the TV during suspenseful scenes and even growls at the bad guys.

He is so funny and loves watching TV and movies. He will even take throw blankets off the couch and make them into a pillow to rest his head while he watches. When he’s not at daycare he loves fetch and water, not just swimming but he will find any puddle and lay in it.

He enjoys hiking and whipped cream. Has been obsessed with a green jolly ball football, loves finding the biggest stick (borderline tree size) in the woods and running around with it.

The only thing Boo hates is when dinner is late and will let you know!

He also doesn’t like when other dogs get too rowdy around him he will police them with his rottie rumbles to try to settle the situation!

Meet the pack Monday: Harlow

Harlow is a 2yr old Bernadoodle, his family has given him some fun nicknames, Har-baby and Snufferdoodle! We like to call him Har and Harlito!

We’ve known Harlow since he was just a baby. He started walks, daycare, training, and boarding with us right away!

He is the best walking buddy for his mom!! He absolutely loves his antlers to chew on and playing ball with his dad!

The only thing he HATES is when he gets little snowballs snuck on his paws

Meet the Pack Monday: Fitzgerald

His owners like to call him Gerry - we call him Fitz & Fitzy!

He is just a baby at one year old!

He absolutely loves toys, food, tummy rubs, playing with yogi (his doggy brother). He is not a fan of trash cans, being alone, and if yogi is the one getting all the attention.

He is one clumsy baby who still thinks he’s a lap dog, he’s so smart yet can act so silly at the same time.. he reminds his owners of falcor from never ending story. Fitzys owner’s favorite thing is when he makes his donkey like noises!

We love having Fitzgerald at BBK9

Are you prepared for the holidays with your pup?

Some great ways to help set up pup up for success with all of the hustle and bustle that the holiday season brings is by utilizing your place command! Place can help settle your pup, keep them out from being underfoot, make sure they aren’t snagging food from any little ones, and give them their own safe spot..

If your pup hasn’t yet mastered place and you don’t have the time during your busy schedule the crate is another incredible tool to use.

I am a big advocate of the crate to help keep them safe when you aren’t home but it can also help them feel comfortable in a known environment if you are planning to have tons of people over. Big crowds can be stressful to your pet, especially if they aren’t use to that.

Lastly, set them up for success by making sure to really tire them out before all of your guests arrive!

Meet the pack Monday: Conan!
Conan is 4 years old and comes all the way from the big state of Texas! (Just like Sydni!)

Conan has a wonky leg but it doesn’t seem to bother him too much!

When he’s not at daycare he likes playing with his friends, going on car rides, walks, finding deer parts in the woods, chasing after bunnies and giving his mom a heart attack 🤣

For some reason he doesn’t seem to like goldens and definitely doesn’t like being left alone.

Conan is such a sweet boy 🥰🐾

Meet the pack Monday: Kingston

This gentle giant will be turning 4 December 14th, he’s just over 200lbs!

Some of his favorite things would be snow, big sticks, branches, and belly rubs. His mom says he thinks it’s his job to protect everyone from the vacuum and power tools. He loves dogs of all sizes but NOT a fan of cats.

We are lucky to have this big man! 🐾❤️

Meet the pack Monday! This is Riggs! 🐾 Born 6/1/2021, this wild child has mastered beginner & intermediate obedience and AKC novice & intermediate tricks. 🎓✨

Riggs lives for adventures—sprinting through the woods, playing keep-away, and keeping our hiking pack safe by checking the front and back. No one’s sneaking up on us with this guy on patrol!

At home, he’s a sweet cuddle bug who shows off his toothy smile for the people he loves most. 🥰 His favorites? Whipped cream, meat, and definitely not veggies. 🥩🍦

Oh, and photos? Not his thing—leave the modeling to his brother Boo. 😎📸

Every year at Thanksgiving my family and I talk about what we are thankful for - sometimes it’s things like our health, recent vacations, time spent together, that new thing we really wanted, etc. On top of being thankful for my family and friends, I wanted to take a moment to express how thankful I am for all of my past, present, and future clients! Without you guys I wouldn’t be where I am today and I am SO grateful!! I hope all of you have a fabulous day today, have a chance to spend time with loved ones, laugh, and snuggle your pup(s)!

Hi everyone! Kaela and I will be taking some days off to spend with our loved ones for the holidays!

Please keep in mind Kaela does all walks now so her days off may effect your schedule

Both: Thursday 11/28 + Friday 11/29,

Kaela: Monday Dec 16th

Both: Wednesday Dec 25-Friday Dec 27th

Kaela: Monday Dec 30 - Thursday Jan 2

Sydni: Dec 31 + Jan 1 -
this may end up turning into the whole week for me as well but I’ll let everyone know once it’s a little closer!

If anyone needs to switch daycare dates please let me know ASAP so I can move your pup!

This is Zazi! She’s a Rottweiler-German Shepherd mix and cousins with Kingston. Zazi loves playing hide-and-seek with her daycare buddies and is always up for a good time. When she’s not at daycare, she enjoys hanging out with her brother Bauer and her favorite humans.

Such a sweet girl—we’re lucky to have her in the pack! 🐾
