In 1979 I graduated from William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in Equestrian Studies. I started my tack repair business in 1980 which soon evolved into blanket cleaning and repair as well as engraving brass name plates. After 30 years working in the basement of my house, it was time to bring the business to the next level. In 2012 I purchased a 30,000 square foot indu

strial building in Gardner. Within in that building, 3 new industrial washing machines were installed as well as drying racks for the blankets, which have the capacity of air drying 260 blankets at one time. Also within in the building is my spacious repair shop and the consignment store. Please call ahead for business hours.

BLANKET UPDATE
After 42 years in business, with a heavy heart, I have decided to retire and close my doors this June, 2023.
Blankets will no longer be accepted for cleaning and repair.
All blankets currently in the shop will be finished. The owners will be notified and must be picked up in Gardner by appointment. I apologize for the inconvenience.
There will be a gently used blanket sale TBA
All blankets are clean and in good repair. Many sizes and weights available. Blankets are $25 each. CASH ONLY. NO VENMO. NO CHECKS. NO PICTURES. WALK IN ONLY.
My laundry facility is for rent. Four (4) state of the art washing machines and space to line dry 260 blankets are one time. This is a turn key operation. Perfect for someone not looking for a job, but a career. If interested, Please contact me for more information. Serious inquiries only.

Here is the latest news for blanket cleaning:
Pick ups are temporary on hold until further notice due to recent emergency surgery and then recovery. Blankets will be received for drop off at the shop in Gardner hopefully towards the end of June. But please contact me for updates. Spraying water repellent is no longer available to help speed up the blanket cleaning process. Tack repair is on hold also until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience but stuff happens in life that you cannot control. Please do not mail blankets or tack during this time as well. Thank you for your patronage and I'll see you soon! Jenn

A big thank you to my employees for preparing a special lunch for Bosses' Day! A delicious meal prepared by all and a most delicious dessert of a chocolate angle food cake rolled with a raspberry whipped cream filling topped with a chocolate ginnash and whipped cream! Absolutely delicious and all made by scratch!!
Also a gift card to my local garden center, The Good Earth in Gardner. They say I'm the best boss but having great employees make it best for all!
