As we prepare for our first batch of inclement winter weather, we would like to remind our great clients that if you are unable to make your appointment due to weather, please call and let us know before your appointment time. We will work with you to reschedule.

For this week, if you are need of prescription or food refills, contact us as soon as you can today.

We will continue to monitor the weather for Monday. If we close or you have to cancel, please call us ahead before traveling to make sure we are open.

As we prepare to gather with our families for the celebration of Christmas, we want to send a very Merry Christmas blessing to you and your family, from our CWVAH family!

We will be open until noon, Christmas Eve, 12/24, Closed on Christmas Day, and will return to normal hours on Thursday, 12/26.

If you are need of any last minute prescription refills, please contact us early tomorrow morning.

**BRAXTON COUNTY MOBILE RABIES CLINIC**

Central WV Animal Hospital will be conducting their annual mobile rabies vaccination clinic on Friday June 7, 2024 and Saturday June 8,2024.

Rabies Vaccinations will be $15.00 per cat or dog.
Distempter, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo Virus, Lepto, Lymes Vaccinations for dogs and Distemper & Upper Respiratory Vaccinations will be available for cats for a substantial savings over office price. Please call our office for pricing information.

Nexguard and worm medications along with other pet supplies will be available for purchase for pets receiving vaccinations.

Please have all dogs tied or on leash. Please have all cats in carrier or box to prevent escape.

WV LAW REQUIRES THAT EVERY DOG AND CAT BE VACCINATED FOR RABIES AND MORE IMPORTANTLY VACCINATION PROVIDES PROTECTION FOR BOTH OWNERS AND PETS AGAINST DEADLY DISEASE.

Central West Virginia Animal Hospital is looking to expand our team! We are seeking a part time (with near potential of full time with benefits in the near future) vet assistant or registered vet tech that exhibits a high level of professionalism, honesty and reliability. Additional requirements include good interpersonal skills, ability to complete basic clerical tasks and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On site training will be provided with opportunities for salary increase after the training period based on performance and efficiency in the workplace.
