Baby Brisket got his face shaved for the first time! He was instantly transformed from cutie pie to majestic prince! 🤩

His Mom said that although he is in his full on "baby shark phase", that she has been consistently working with him on his manners, and it's paying off!

We're so proud of this boy and what he will bring to our program in the future!

I took Harper to the vet today to test her progesterone levels and see if she was ready to breed...we're not quite there, but we think Thursday will be our day!!

🐾REPEAT 🐩🐩🐩 WITH HARPER AND JONES🐾

We were so very impressed with what this pairing produced last time that we decided to do it again! We have gotten rave reviews from the families who have babies from these two, so we've decided that more people need Harper/Jones babies in their lives!

🐾We are eagerly awaiting the results of Brisket's first round of health testing!🐾

Every dog in our program gets a genetic panel done to ensure we aren't passing down bad genes to any of our puppies. It is extremely important to us that the puppies we produce are set up for a lifetime of health and we do our very best to make sure this happens!

Fun fact: while testing the potential for genetic carriers, we also get to learn the color traits of each of our dogs. This allows us to play scientist and plan out the specific colors and patterns of each litter, which is super fun!

🐾Who is ready for some more GORGEOUS Harper 🐩🐩🐩?🐾

Sweet baby girl went into heat yesterday, so that means in the next few weeks we will be pairing her with her perfect match! We're expecting this litter to be born around mid to late March, with go 🏡 dates following 8 weeks after birth!

Our goal is to produce some gorgeous Phantoms and Reds, just like last litter and mayyyyybe partis too! Of course we are shooting for that perfect family/therapy/service temperament!

If you fell in love with the last litter and the timing just wasn't right, shoot me a message and get on our waitlist! Once we narrow down our stud and we get a successful breeding, we'll open up d e p o s i t s!

🐾🐾Did you know...🐾🐾

It's really important to maintain the hair in between the pads of your Poodles and Doodles!

Hair grows in between the pads and toes and can mat just like the hair on the body can. These mats are often tighter and can cause bruising and tears in the skin which can be really painful for your dog.

This hair also holds onto moisture which can breed yeast. Sometimes this can cause discomfort and sores for your pup...especially in the winter if you live in a region with snow! It feels like our dogs' feet are always damp in the winter months!🤦‍♀️

Getting a small pet clipper and scooping out that hair will help keep your pup healthy and happy! As an added bonus, it cuts down on what they track into the house too! Win, win!!😁🐾

🐾Teaching the puppies to switch off🐾 Aside from the loads of desensitization we do with the puppies, I think this is the most important thing we do with them. It makes a huge impact on what your dog will demand of you, as far as energy goes. When your puppy knows how to switch off, you don't end up with and adrenaline junkie who always needs longer walks, more time chasing a ball or Frisbee, or running wild in the back yard. You can enforce this with your older dogs too! It's never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, but we put in the work with your puppy so you don't have to layer on! All you need to do it reinforce what they've already learned!❤️🐾

What does it look like to have 15 Poodles playing in your yard? PURE JOY!! Myra's happy twirls are my absolute favorite!! The puppies had a great time exploring the yard and finally getting a chance to play with their grandparents (Magnus/Myra) and Auntie Zen!!

🐾🐾6 week vet check for the Poodle babies!!🐾🐾 Everyone passed with flying colors: great weights, no umbilical hernias, perfect bites! Every time we go to the vet he raves about our dogs' (puppies and parents) temperaments! Even in a brand new environment, after a 30 minute car ride, the vet said these puppies were "very social"! We love hearing that! We also were told that our puppies "always smell so clean, unlike some of the other litters that are brought in".😁😆 Very proud that in a sea of breeders, we make a positive impression on our vet and their staff!🐾 For more info on these babies, visit www.dogmomco.net/upcoming-litters

Daily vacuum desensitization (amongst other things!) helps the puppies get used to loud noises. This sets them up for a lifetime of confidence, so they don't have to be scared or nervous when they encounter loud noises!🐾
