Update on location

I will now be grooming from Live Oak Vet while I figure out the salon’s final space.

Holidays around the corner! We got lots of accessories feel free to pick your favorite to go on your pup when they come in for their spa day.

Bella haircut specs: 5 blade reverse body, leave boots rounded feet, short teddy face, top knot bow, yorkie ears. I tipped the ears and did the pads with a 30 blade, shaved tummy and bum with a 10. Notes written as a groomer : #5 rev Clydesdale, sh tbh, tk bow P.S. her boots are still filling in from a previous clip

Perhaps the most important part of the grooming process …. Brush and Comb Do this: 📌 Before the bath 📌After the bath Water will make knots and matting tighter and more difficult to brush out 📌 every day to every other day Just like we have to brush our hair daily if your friend is fluffy they need the same consistency. ‼️If your pup is matted to the skin cutting it short is a much nicer way to solve that issue. Brushing and dematting at that stage can be very painful, cause bruising and possibly nicks to the skin caused by sharp dematting tools‼️

Judy practicing washing Diva I feel pet grooming is an important part of their care, and I make it a point to teach my children this. Most vet bills can be avoided with regular care and grooming. A properly cared for coat promotes healthy skin. To me pets are family, and having one is another form of having a child to care for. Pardons for this being so long 😅
