Just to make things clear for those who want to come on my page now and be upset there are fluffy Frenchies!!!
For one, I clearly have off colored Danes 🤦🏼‍♀️
From health tested parents! So being mad these frenchies arent up to the show standard doesn’t hold anything to me.
BUT back to the Frenchies!!
These are not my dogs! I am helping an older horse client of mine who unfortunately started having health issues and just can’t take care of them like they need! I originally owned momma, and that’s as far as my extent in frenchies go!
She needed help, and I stepped in!!
So before you start assuming, maybe just ask?
I however do not see the issue with fluffy frenchies! These Frenchies are fully health tested. The fluffy gene is a naturally occurring gene that’s laid dormant in Frenchies from the dawn of time! Just like tan point in Great Danes.
Nothing was crossed to get the longer coat minus breeding those with the long hair gene to those with the dominant long hair gene!
Is it up to standard? No! And you can have your right to believe that everything needs to be bred to standard to uphold the standard! But if everyone did that than there would be one breed of dog! Cause how do you think breeds originated?
But we can all agree to disagree- and be passionate on our thoughts and beliefs! That’s ok! Just you do you.
