*Attention Clients*
2023 was wonderful, and we are so looking forward to 2024! Going into this new year, we have decided to add a little fur baby of our own. Meet Lady ♥️
Below are some notes, with looking ahead to 2024.
🐶WE ARE LOW TRAFFIC
This is a huge pro to choosing us, but can also be a con. We board dogs in our house and we do not keep them in a crate unless we step out of the house or for bedtime. Even then, if the dog doesn’t go in a crate at home then we don’t put them in a crate here. (We have a dog area though for their safety) Example, if a dog sleeps with someone at home, we let it sleep with us! For this reason we have to keep it low traffic. We love loving on the dogs and want them to feel comfortable. However, being low traffic means we have limited availability. He hate to turn away your dogs, and appreciate your understanding!
🐶Availability
We were SO blessed to have had so many dogs last summer, but we will be going slower this summer. With that said, I want to open this summer up for my current dogs FIRST! Please try to book your dates with me THIS MONTH to have a greater chance of me being available! I’ll start booking new clients in February to give y’all a chance to save dates first.
🐶 Drop of and Pick up
I am going to continue not having specific drop off or pick up times. However, an approximate time does need to be given. I like doing this for y’all because I know having specific time slots can be very inconvenient for you when traveling. I just ask y’all to consider my time, as I do plan my day around drop offs and pick ups. So when booking, you can say Friday morning to Monday night. Before that Friday, we will need to discuss a more specific time for drop off. I know it’s hard knowing pick up time but generally you know if it will be morning, midday, night, etc. You can update me with an approximate time that day and just update me if it changes.
🐶Breeds
I know this is a sensitive topic, but there will be certain breeds we can’t watch. I have two kids in the home and their safety is top priority. We love dogs and understand that there are dogs of these breeds that are great loving dogs. We will be happy to supply you with other dog boarding places that may could watch them. We appreciate your understanding!
Pit bulls, Rottweilers, Great Danes (due to size), and any mixes that are part of these breeds. I also love German Shepards but we can only watch them if they are outside dogs. (We do have one that we watch inside that is very well trained but we just plan to keep it to him)
🐶 Other notes-
I require you to bring your own dog food. This lets the dog eat what it’s used to and it won’t hurt their stomach like new food may. If they use puppy pads, please bring that too.
Don’t be alarmed that I like to start with dogs outside. You’re welcomed to come inside, but I have found this to work best. There is something about a car ride that makes a dog gotta go lol. It gives them time to sniff around, make their territory outside, meet us, then go inside.
