TCD'S Rose Garden Litter 🌹🐾❤️- Week 7

These sweet little roses are bernedoodle perfection in every way! Loving dispositions, gorgeous color, soft full coats- the whole package! Working with this litter has been such an uplifting experience for our family! I can't believe they will be leaving us in just a weeks time, but I am so excited for their new families! I know they will flourish in their new homes! 🥰💗🐾

Our little roses had their first round of vaccinations and first wellness visit yesterday! Everyone did amazingly well and all are healthy happy puppers! I had my "A team" with me to lend a hand and to give each puppy snuggles before and after their pokey! ❤️🐾🤗🤭 Seriously though, my 4 little people are so amazing with the pups. I couldn't do what I do without them and wouldn't want to! They bring so much joy to the raising of puppies! 💙💙💜💜

I think I say this every week, but time with these little guys is flying by! I can’t believe they are six weeks old already. Puppy selection is right around the corner and in just 2 short weeks these little puppers will be heading home to their new families. So exciting! 🙌❤️

This has been a great week with the pups. The puppies had some fun new experiences, were introduced to doggy crates and are now eating solid kibble!

We have been letting the pups out 2 at a time to explore different rooms of the house and to spend some time with Rosie, Wallace and Clementine. Socialization with other dogs is so important, as most of these pups will have canine siblings or will be frequenting places where other dogs will be present. By exposing them to other dogs early and in a safe, supportive environment, we are confident that their interactions with other dogs will be positive and polite! 🐾🥰

The pups also have spent time outside in the sunshine both enclosed on our patio and running free in the yard. It’s so much fun to watch them explore new things! I have to say, these puppies are such a confident bunch and love to experience new places! So proud of them! ☀️❤️

TCD's Rose Garden Litter 🌹🐾❤️- Week 5 Update

Week 5 is so much fun! The puppies have a new expanded puppy area with lots of new exciting things to explore. They are enjoying having a little more room to romp and play!

They had their first full grooming exposure this week with a bath, blow-dry and nail trim. Everyone did great! We will continue exposure to baths, hairdryer and nail dremel over the next few weeks in hopes of making future grooming experiences positive for both puppy and groomer!

The puppies have transitioned from puppy mush to softened kibble this week. We still mix their food with probiotics once daily to support their little digestive and immune systems.

We are continuing our puppy curriculum, with a new sound exposure and play experience daily. Some of the highlights this week included listening to doorbells ringing, babies crying, fireworks and motor noises. Our favorite play experiences included exploring cardboard boxes (in, around and over), crinkly paper, textured floor tiles and tug toys (always a favorite!).

Time is flying by! Stay tuned to see what adventures week 6 brings! ❤️

TCD'S Rose Garden Litter 🌹🐾❤️- Week 5

Boy how time flies! I can't believe our little roses are 5 weeks old! 🥺🥰 Can you believe how much they've grown?!

This age is so much fun! We are watching their little personalities develop as they grow and I couldn't be more pleased with the amazing dispositions of each one! They are all just the sweetest little souls! 💗🐾 Rosie and Wallace make the best puppies! Plus they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Bernedoodle perfection! 😍🤎🤍🖤

🌹🐾❤️ TCD’s Rose Garden Litter- Week 4 Update

We have had a very busy and exciting week! Here’s what we’ve been up to!

This week the puppies had their first puppy mush-which they thoroughly and messily enjoyed! 😋 We will continue to feed the puppies soaked food until all their little teeth come in and they are able to chew crunchy kibble. We are also continuing our puppy curriculum with daily sound exposures, new sensory experiences and puppy massage/gentle handling exercises. The puppies met their Aunt Clementine (our bernedoodle) for the first time! She is just as smitten as we are and the pups thought she was pretty cool too! 💕 And most excitingly, the puppies have been introduced to their new play area! For the first 4 weeks, the puppies stay in their whelping box, which is upstairs in a quiet corner of our bedroom. Yesterday, the pups were introduced to their downstairs play area where they will be spending their days and evenings! At night, we move the pups back upstairs to the whelping box so we can continue to monitor them during the nighttime hours.

Potty training is going amazingly well! 🙌 The puppies are using their potty area in the whelping box and in their play area like champs. So proud of these little cuties and all of the milestones they are making! This litter is just exceptional in every way!

TCD's Rose Garden Litter- Week 3 update ❤️🐾🌹

Week 3 was full of new and exciting experiences for our puppies! We have introduced a potty area in their whelping box, provided a new novelty item and sound exposure daily and began giving the pups a 10 step puppy massage in the evenings before bed!

This week the puppies have experienced lots of new and fun things in their whelping box- new textures under foot, things they can carry in their mouth, things that crinkle and things that roll! They have also experienced new sounds each day- the sound of a thunderstorm, street noise, vacuum, birds chirping, children playing and the sound of a guitar playing softly. Normally, my husband is the one to introduce the puppies to the sounds of music, but this time around my 12 year old son had the honors! He plays the guitar beautifully and it makes my mama heart proud that he is carrying on this tradition!

Our puppies almost always score high on the touch tolerance piece of our temperament evaluation. Wonder why? The trick is, we handle the puppies often and with intention! We start when they are just a few days old- holding them close to our face and heart so they can begin to learn trust, moving into a gentle 10 step puppy massage starting on day 17 and repeating the puppy massage with increasing pressure as they get older. Plus, we really love puppies around here and spend A LOT of time giving them extra love, belly rubs, ear scratches and snuggles! We put our heart and soul into giving each of our puppies the best start possible, preparing them to thrive in their new homes once they leave us!

Our adorable little roses are 3 weeks old! Everyone is thriving, getting lots of lovin' and growing by the minute! We are soaking up every moment we can with these wonderful little pups.
