This year I have seen a lot of horses that have shown signs of a magnesium deficiency. Attitude changes, focus issues, overly sensitive, etc. This is a great article that I often recommend clients read to help them decide if their horse could benefit.
When in doubt, follow your gut. If your horse is suddenly acting very different, there's a reason. You know your horse best, so watch for changes.
Not all magnesium supplements are the same, so do your homework. And one may work better on your horse than another and you may need to adjust dosage to suit your horse. If you have questions, message me.
