🎆 4th of July Fireworks Safety Tips for Your Dog 🇺🇸

Fireworks are exciting for us but can be terrifying for our dogs. Here are some ways to help keep them safe and calm this holiday:

🐶 1. Keep Them Inside
Even dogs who are usually fine outside can panic and run away during fireworks. Make sure your dog is secured safely indoors.

🎵 2. Create a Calm Space
Set up a quiet room with familiar blankets, toys, and background noise like a TV or calming music to help drown out the booms.

🏷️ 3. Check ID Tags & Microchips
More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. Double-check that your dog’s tags and microchip info are up to date.

🫶 4. Stay Calm Yourself
Dogs pick up on our emotions. Try to remain relaxed and upbeat, even if they’re scared.

🍖 5. Avoid Party Hazards
Keep human food, alcohol, glow sticks, and sparklers out of reach.

🐾 6. Consider Calming Aids
Talk to your vet about anxiety wraps, pheromone sprays, or medication if your dog gets extremely stressed.
