Not a young pup - but Teddy is looking for his perfect match.

This dog has a stellar temperament. No aggression, no fear, but not outgoing.

He is a very easy very calm dog. He is a great example of “standoffish with strangers”. He is not afraid, but is also not really interested in engaging. Great for walking, hiking, going to stores. *BUT* if you expect him to be happy to see people - that is not him.
If you want him to just stand there and perhaps see if they are worthy of attention when they approach and say they love him….thats good. He does not bark, show aggression or even worry about strangers. They aren’t important. You can have as long as you need to converse with the store help or people talking to you. That’s fine. But if you want him to be looking at those strangers, trying to engage them. Well no. He’s not that dog.

He has had some issues with vehicle travel. He has some motion sickness which has lessened as he matures. Initially there was nausea, but that changed to a lot of drooling.

We had only had him in crates. He was placed, they tried letting him ride on the backseat, and the drooling did not stop. This was one reason he was returned and not a good match.

We decided to try different locations in the vehicle and other comfort reinforcements. We found he is great with a soft blanket on the floor of the vehicle. No motion sickness or anxiety.

He is currently with a family member who is fostering him at my request, so we can further evaluate him. With the blanket he has completed multiple trips on her vehicle, including the trip home which had several stops, and drive time of an hour or more. He has also accompanied them (people and family dog) on multiple hikes with many encounters with others. And behaved exactly as I expected.

This dog is really a special boy who needs the perfect home.

A short break from puppy spam…to one of the important things about breeding! That is doing all we can to select healthy examples of the breed with good breed type!

I am proud to show the progress of our boy Shades ( K2'S SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT OF D'HART)in this light. He achieved his Grand Champion status before he was two. We now have all the OFA tests done EXCEPT the DNA profile and health tests. Which are, I think, one of the most important things. However, if you look at his combined health testing pedigree on line I’d say we should be looking good. Does not mean I’ll not be doing it - look for it next month

We have two lovely 5 month old Rat Terrier boys available (at no fault of their own!).

Well socialized, raised with other dogs and plenty of exposure to a variety of things. Clicker trained. Crate trained and started on other basic obedience behaviors. Health tested AKC Grand Champion parents.

Our loss could be your gain. We had hoped to bring this sweet, loving, intelligent, willing girl into our breeding program, but have decided that she isn’t the right fit after all and would benefit so much from being part of a loving family.

She was raised with much of the Puppy Culture program, socialized with children, adults of all ages and abilities, and clicker trained to several behaviors.

She has been exposed to some puppy sized agility equipment, wobble boards, a teeter totter, tunnel, very low “jumps”, multiple breeds of dogs, a horse, goat, chickens and ducks as well as the lawn mower and weed-whacker-at a distance.

She is tolerant, playful, and protective, but in typical Bouvier fashion just gets between and distracts. She loves to carry her toys around and does some retrieving. This girl is a true gem and would do great in most any home that can give her the love and training she needs. Born in April of this year.

We have three 9.5 old month puppies available. Originally, we held back two of the puppies to see how they matured.

The difficult decision was made that both Teddy and Rumer are not exactly the right fit for our breeding goals. This is NO FAULT of their own! They are lovely pups with many excellent qualities. Teddy is sweet - he is just larger than we want. Rumer is very sweet, but much softer than her sister Kaisley.

Frankie has been here and just has not found his family yet.

They are all house trained, crate trained and started on basic obedience.
