Why is it important to foster??

Is anyone available to open their home & heart for two lab mix pups currently sitting at the shelter??

They will need a foster for at least 4 weeks to ensure all proper vetting is completed.

Our rescue will provide all needed items to the foster, we just can not pull these babies to safety with out a foster.

If you can foster, please PM me. These babies count on rescues to pull them... but we need a fosters help in order to do that. ♥️♥️

Tonight breaks our hearts as we got a call about an abandoned/neglected baby at a property where this baby was just left to fend for himself outside.

He (Zeus) is in awful condition. 😢😢
He has an appointment at Sanderlin Veterinary Hospital 762-675-6003 tomorrow to check him over thoroughly so we are able to determine his skin condition as well as any other issues.

Zeus is around 2-3 years and has had no known prior vetting seeing as how he was left outside. He will also need neutered once we see what his initial vet visit states about his condition.

HW status is unknown as well.. we will know that tomorrow.

The look this baby gives, you can just see he is so miserable.

Soooo some good news to brighten the day.
Sanderlin Veterinary Hospital called this am to give an update on our babies.

6 out of the 9 can come home today as they are showing no signs and have normal bowel movements as well as normal appetite. They are sending them home with a bland diet and sub q fluids just in case.

Champagne, Champ, and KJ have to stay for additional IV fluids to make sure they are getting what they need. All the babies showed interest in food this am and ate very well.

We are thankful for Dr. Sanderlin and her staff, they are amazing!!

Foster can pick the 6 pups up around 11, so we will post with updates. ❤️❤️🐾🐾

SOS!! Babies need our help ASAP

Champs siblings are on their way to the vet as I type this with parvo symptoms.
There are 8 babies we are needing to treat.
We have called the vet for them to keep the babies and treat them, they need a $500 deposit.
Time is of the essence for these babies. These babies need all the help they can get, please help us help them. We have some of the deposit but not all as we are a small rescue.
Every bit counts for these babies.

It is parvo and they’re going to keep him. There’s no guarantee that he’ll make it, but we have to do everything possible to try to save him.

Good Morning..
Hope everyone is having a terrific Thursday.

As most in rescue know...shortly after Christmas is what they call “puppy season”. Often times this is where people either have puppies from their dogs or are wanting to re home the baby they just got for Christmas. Although this is very sad for the babies.... all we can do as rescues is be there to help these babies onto the next step in their journey.
S.H.A.R.E., Inc. has committed to two litters before Christmas before they born to ensure they were not given away or dumped.
We have a total of 18 adorable babies that are doing amazing.
One litter has had their first worming and will receive their first set of shots in a couple weeks.
The other litter is just shy of 5 days old.
We are reaching out to our supporters/followers for help as providing all that is needed for these babies can be very costly. Every bit counts when it comes to making sure these babies have the best care.
We will be providing:
Puppy pads
Formula (if needed)
Puppy food (once weaned)
All vetting
We will have to order more wormer as well as more shots. Please help us help them.

Today is a heart touching day for me.
Little bean has finally found the right family to meet her special needs. Bean is deaf and needed a family that would understand her.
My son’s BFF’s family is just that and they are super amazing. Thank you Erika Forrest for giving Wynter Bean the best home ever.
I also want to thank Kimberly Lynn for taking such great care of her when she was a bottle baby.
Thank you to Tammy Lichtenfels as well for taking her and her siblings to foster once they got older. ❤️🐾
Although I have grown attached to sweet bean is was the best feeling in my heart to watch her take the next step in her journey.
We have taught Bean No and Sit in sign language and I feel confident that her signing will only increase with her new family. 🥰🥰

These babies and their mama will be making their way into our rescue as they were dumped on someone’s property and living under her shed. (We will be scanning mom and pups to check for a chip)
The mama is very scared and will require trapping in order to take her with her pups as we never leave a min behind.
All three babies and mama will be taken to the vet for an exam as well as vaccinations to get them UTD. They will all also need flea/tick prevention, HW testing for the mama, HW prevention for mom and pups depending on the age vet thinks they are. Mama will also need spayed along with babies if old enough.
We think the babies are only 10-12 weeks but we want verification to be sure.
Help us help them... as you know we are able to help these babies thanks to our followers/supporters as well as our adoption fees.
Every donation no matter the amount helps us help them start their new journey in life. We thank you so much we know Mama and babies are extremely grateful as well. ❤️🐾🐾

So people ask why I do rescue and why I am slowly beginning to dislike humanity.
I tell them if you see what we as rescues see on the daily, you would understand.
Yesterday our rescue took on a kitten that had been dumped on the side of the road and left for dead. This baby was also found eating its deceased sibling to stay alive! 😡
A kind-hearted lady had found this little kitten but he was heck to catch as he is feral. But they caught him and asked for help so we stepped up and asked the finder to get the kitten to her local vet, Langston Vet in Easley SC. I am by no means impressed with them at all as I had to practically threaten them to even see the kitten. Once I had said then find me someone who who’s a real vet that will see this kitten, he changed his tune super quick!
So, they examine this baby and tell me he has a wound that’s pretty infected (specifically stated NO MAGGOTS). Said they wiped it clean, gave meds, and sent the finder and kitten on their way.
Me... I’m thinking okay this baby has been cleaned, got meds and I had arranged with the finder to pick him up today.
Upon getting this baby I noticed the wound didn’t look as bad as I thought but wanted to get him home to better assess.
Well low and behold when I got him home I found the true horror that this baby had been going through.
When I pulled his neck back to examine the wound I could clearly see a Bot Fly... yes I said BOT FLY inside the wound. At this point I’m furious and crying because how could the vet have missed that if he thoroughly examined like he stated. Lynn was on the phone with me at the time and was shooting me all kinds of info to help. And mind you they don’t give rescue discount either because they are family owned and operated. With that said, I will be calling the vet and expressing my deep opinion towards them.
We were able to get the Bot Fly out of the wound to get it cleaned and irrigated really well. We packed it and put raw honey over the wound as it’s really beneficial in wound healing.
But looking at this baby broke my heart.... how could someone be so damn cruel to any animal let alone something that small.
He is infested with fleas, swollen belly from intestinal parasites, and a huge gaping wound on his neck. It’s just so disheartening anymore the humanity that’s out there.
This baby has a road of healing ahead along with learning to trust humans but we will get there. He is still going to need a little more vet care at our vet due to the severity and deep ness of the wound.
If you can find it in your heart to donate to the remaining care of this baby ......we would not only be grateful but I know he would be forever grateful.

The pictures are a bit graphic but this just shows a visual answer as to why we as rescuers have less and less faith in humanity.

UPDATE ON TURK
Turk is doing amazing in his new home with his fur sisters. He has had a little trouble adjusting to the new routine but has done exceptionally well considering he’s still a puppy and learning new things everyday. Thank you Keyanna for giving him the home he so desperately needed and waited for. Much love sweet boy.❤️🐾🐾

We have been so blessed to watch you go from closed off, scared, malnourished, filled with worms and fleas to blossoming into amazing little pups. Thank you to our fantastic fosters Tammy and Megan that showed these babies what it’s like to feel love and compassion along with exceptional care.

I had the pleasure of baby sitting our bottle babies while the foster was out of town. 🥰🥰I was in love with them. They are all so sweet and adorable. They will be 5 weeks this Sunday, squeeee! 🐾🐾
We believe the all white baby in Mama Coco’s litter is deaf and possibly blind, but we will know more upon her vet visit.
As you know we are a non-profit rescue and rely on our adoption fees and donations in order to continue helping those in need.
We have had many puppies come into our rescue the several weeks and they rely on us as we are their voice. Every little bit counts no matter how big or small. Your donations to:

We are needing fosters to help some incoming babies as we can not help these babies if we do not have fosters.
We rely on y’all to help us to continue helping those that need us.

UPDATE: These two babies have made it to their amazing foster homes and are doing very well. We have a few things that need attention from the vet but over all they are amazingly perfect! 💕🐾🐾

Okay we have three babies coming up from Miami. One has a foster home but we still need a foster two shepherds that are bonded. One is 6 years old and one is 11 years old. They are very sweet, get along with other dogs, cats, and kids. All are UTD on shots, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Please let us know if you need pups like to foster. UPDATE ON QUEENIE (aka mama) Her water broke last night and we still have no puppies. Foster is getting her to the vet as I type this. If she requires a c section we will need the help of our followers/supporters as we are knee deep in vet bills and we just had a mama two weeks ago required a c section that was 3500 dollars and we are still paying that as well. Please keep mama in your prayers and we will update her status once vet has looked her over. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💞🐾🐾
