Go Like the NEW Higgins Meats and Eats page!!! Great place to eat and shop for local meats in Grand Rivers you will not be disappointed!! They had some scammers issues on their other page and had to create a new one.

We are currently accepting new board and train clients for the 2024 year. There will be a 150.00 price increase this year to off set the increase cost in training equipment. We really focus on a positive home like experience for your dog during their 4 to 5 week stay. The dogs stay in our home while enjoying lots of outdoor playtime and hikes. They will have fun learning new manners and obedience with lots of positive reinforcement.
Our on leash obedience program will be
1,150.00 before tax
Our obedience with off recall program will be 1,450.00 before tax.

I have room for one more person in the The Paducah Kennel Club group obedience class. This class is indoors at their facility. This is a foundation obedience class dogs must be 6 months or older and have current vaccines. Please message me for details.

When Deacon first came he was uncatchable off leash even in our fenced in yard. He loved the chase me game more than anything. He has really turned over a new leaf with his recall skills! So excited that he will be able to get more freedom and stretch those long legs of his.

Many have asked me about the upper respiratory outbreak. I have not answered or posted as there has been very little concrete information to present. I’ve seen other kennels post on how they are taking precautions. Unfortunately there aren’t any new precautions to take until more studies are done.
We clean and sanitize every morning, but almost all respiratory illness are airborne which is why they are so contagious. This is the season for respiratory illness to spread in people and dogs.
My best advise as a pet owner is taking steps to keep our pets immune system healthy by proper diet, vaccines, and you can even add immune support supplements. If you notice your pet not feeling well always have them checked by your veterinarian. My veterinarian is keeping me posted with any knew information so if new precautions need to be taken then they will be implemented immediately.

Oscar has come a really long way with his manners. Today we started adding a lot more distractions and he handled it like a pro 🧡

One of the biggest issues it seems most pet owners have is how to handle company coming over. The place command can be the perfect answer for an excited pup to learn. It’s important to practice this scenario before we have company. So our dogs know what is expected of them once they hear that knock on the door. We made a short film to demonstrate how one of these practice sessions might go. These were paid actors Starring Mickey Tucker, Rachel Darnell, Rilynn Yarrow, and Ashton the Bernese mountain dog Directed by Stephanie Tucker

Happiness is seeing dogs excited for their turn to go train 😊😊😊

Coco was spayed yesterday and was a such a good girl at the vet!! She is looking for a loving family to call her own.

We are so proud of Andrew and Jayden!! They have been taking agility classes down in Nashville. Jayden is a little Bernedoodle that did our board and train program last year and we are so happy they are continuing their education and finding fun things to do together!! Looks like we have some serious competition when they are ready to start trialing!! Shout out to the NDTC for having such a great dog sport program and teachers!!

Gotta love a good summer intern!

A good friend has 3, 5 month old purebred Anatolian Shepherds. They are from really good guardian stock. They have been rasied with goats, chickens, and horses. Parents are amazing livestock guardian dogs. Pictures of parents in comments. Message for details

Rylie Beth has completed 2 weeks of training and will continue with some daycare. Her Mom Rescued her about a month ago. She has been very eager to learn with positive reinforcement. She has also been singing us the beautiful song of her people 🤣🤣🤣

Our group class pups and owners are starting to really understand the building blocks to good leash manners. Sometimes it takes a little longer when you and your dog are learning together!! But important to stay consistent and pat yourself on the back for any progress made!! 🥰🥰

I've decided to document my full daily training sessions with the poodle pups. This guys is Archie. This is my 3rd session focusing leash training. The first 2 times he had no understanding of the lead so he just wore it and we stood there so you didnt miss much lol. I will try to video as much as possible but we do work with the dogs multiple short sessions through out the day. I just wanted to show the progress that can be made with just 10 mins of work over the course of our board and trains.

5.5 month old Bernedoodle Boone is doing so well with his obedience training.

Aero working on impulse control!! I can't take any credit for the training on this dog as he has an amazing owner handler that has put a great foundation on this sweet boy. He is here just to work on fine tuning things around distractions which we have a alot of here 😆😆
