Are you working long hours and worried that your dog might need a little extra fresh air during the day? Are you leaving town and want someone trusted to watch over your cats? We offer dog walking and daily vacation cat care visits. We can work together to customize a routine that works best for you and your furry friends. Homeward Bound Professional Animal Care, LLC is owned and operated by Alix

Marcoux DiLorenzo of Gilford, New Hampshire. Alix grew up in Laconia, New Hampshire with dogs, cats, and horses. After receiving a BA from Mount Holyoke College, she went on to open a successful pet care business, Pawsitively Pampered Pets in Seattle, Washington. Eventually she went on to receive her MS in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from Michigan State University. Most recently Alix worked at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts. A desire to return to the place where she grew up has brought Alix back to New Hampshire to establish Homeward Bound Professional Animal Care, LLC. Alix brings a lifetime of knowledge gained by working with animals of all kinds from dogs, cats and horses to wildlife such as deer, wolves, and bear. Alix has also volunteered her time at HOWL, a wildlife rehabilitation center, Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle in the feline and gorilla units, and for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources tracking deer.
