One of our lovely ladies of the herd did not come in to feed today. Normally no one misses a feed, but when they do it’s for one reason.. to have their fawn. Pretty sure we had our first fawn for the 2024 season today. Although I couldn’t locate the fawn I did locate momma and she looks good! I also found this handsome stag 🦌

What a storm! 2’ of ❄️ here on the farm!
First I would like to thank all the Line workers, tree crews, roads crews & so on! You all work so hard! As many of you know many of my close family are in the powerline industry. I know first hand how hard these guys/gals work. The hours, sleepless nights, conditions and temps they work in. Please be patient & thank them! ❤️
Now back to the herd! Luckily no damage to the fence! But our driveway had a lot of tree damage . Thanks to some help cleaning up, the herd got a nice big pile of hemlock branches!

After 5 days, we have Bailey home safe! She is very happy to be home and resting comfortably moving from bed to bed 😊
Our pups are part of our family. Having one missing was extremely heartbreaking. We couldn’t have gotten through this without your help. To our friends, family, the Gilmanton Community, and surrounding communities we are truly thankful. Everyone came together taking time away from your own lives to help as if she was part of your own family. From searching to checking out your windows, providing food and shelter and even flying drones to find her is truly amazing and we are so grateful. Thank you Granite State Dog Recovery for posting flyers, offering your services and advice.
A special thank you to all the Glen Echo residents in Crystal Lake who repeatedly checked their cameras for sightings, and allowed me to walk our other shepherd near their homes and provide a safe place for a bed and food for Bailey. We can’t thank you enough❤️

Sunday 2/4 Bailey is still missing. Several sightings on cameras. We are working with Granite State Dog Recovery. We ask that you please do not call her, chase her or drive near the sights she has been seen unless you live in that area. Thank you for all your help! It is so appreciated!❤️ please still let us know if you have any sightings.

1pm she was seen on a ring camera at the very end of Gale Road. She seems to be following the snowmobile trail. We were unable to track her the whole way. Thanks to everyone for checking in, keeping your eyes out and helping us search. ❤️
UPDATE: Bailey is still missing. There have been no sightings. Please checks your barns and cameras if you have them🙏🏻

Bailey went missing around 11 am this morning. This is not usual for her. She doesn’t stray from the farm. Please be on the lookout. She was last seen on Crystal Lake and Perkins Road. We are worried sick about her. She has her yellow collar with her name, as well as a tag and she wears a bell. Please reach out if you see her.

Urgent Missing 1 year old German Shepherd from Gilmanton NH since 2/1/24. Bailey was last seen on Crystal lake Road and is wearing a collar and bell. 1-855-639-5678

I had the pleasure of having an amazing dinner The Foundry Restaurant last night. Of course I went with the Venison Ragu special! Bravo 🙌 to Chef Vincent and his staff! It was such a rewarding experience honestly. We have worked so hard making the farm what it is today. so shout out to The Foundry family! You all are amazing. Thank you for supporting local farmers❤️
Oh, and when you make it down there for dinner, you MUST try the maple cheesecake 😉

To my 603 peeps! Have you tried the The Foundry Restaurant?! It’s the largest farm to table restaurant in NH, located in Manchester in one of the mill buildings. I had the pleasure of making our first venison delivery! Yup that’s right! Follow their page and keep an eye on their menu for Velvet Flats venison! It’s a win win! You know where your food comes from and your supporting local farms and a local business!!
