Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce our pet stylist Trisha as she will be primarily running this page here for Pawfect Styles. Trisha will be much better at keeping everyone up to date than I can ever do lol. She has been with us since February and has 7 years grooming experience as well as exceptional hand scissor skills. I'm sure some of you may have had the pleasure to meet her already. Looking for a professional pet stylist for a high end, new and growing, grooming salon in Glen Ellyn, IL. We are looking for part time 2 to 3 days a week to eventual full time as our clientele base continually grows, but willing to consider permanent part time employment. What is most important in our candidate is having the ability to work as a team environment ( this includes salon clean up) as well as being able to take constructive criticism as you learn the types of styling our clients are used to and expecting. The days we currently need filled the most are Tuesday and Friday. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 or until we are done. We generally are out by 5:00 or earlier with the clean up included. We do alot of doodles on schedule, and very rarely have shave downs. We have a great client base that is on routine schedule. We are looking for a groomer than can groom at least 5 to 6 dogs a day or more if you are comfortable with doing so. Quality is our focus, not quantity. Our salon is a cage free pet play environment but we also will crate as needed. This is a W2 commissioned based position.

I have just received a schedule I can now book for the future on appts for those that have been waiting. So those of you that have been waiting. I will contact all of you again within 24 thru 48 hours. You have not been forgotten. So my deepest apologies as you've all been patient with our new opening. Some waiting weeks or more. Many of you I have not spoke with personally yet, but just to keep keep things in a perspective, we will welcome clients that will commit to 8 weeks or less. Yes we have some pre-qualifications only because we do keep a crate free and do our best to keep a very calm environment. We do specialize in hair cut and styles more over than double coated breed grooms but that does not mean we will not take your double coated breeds. But our specialty is in styling. We want to give the pups the best attention and the most stress free environment we can offer which is why we will discuss, ask and answer all your questions before we book any new clients. We are not a traditional salon as to being able to take in dogs without a pre-set appt. We are just not staffed to do such requests. And it would disrupt the calm environment we strive to hold. We heavily focus on pet enrichment, stress reduction, mental happiness as well as a commitment from the pet parents to give their fur babes the best in their life. We have many non-ordinary features that will be available to our clients in the near future that no other traditional salon in the area offers, specific for our clientele only. I do look forward to announcing much more very soon. Meanwhile, my goal is to get that website up within the next few weeks. So as of the end of the month we will be moving out of our 728 S. Main Street location in Lombard. The 27th will be our last grooming day. I'm aware I have clients scheduled that week after that I will need to reschedule.

Our temporary May location will be held at the Groom Room located at 419 Cresent Blvd in Lombard for the month of May. Our plans are to open fully in June at our new location at 817 N. Main in Glen Ellyn. 🤞

For those I need to move the last week of April, I will be in contact or feel free to contact me by text.

I'm so very sorry that everything has been a hot mess. It has been with me too. New owners now acquire the Lombard location. I'm doing what I can to try and keep everyone on their schedule. Until I'm at the new location, it will be then I can accept new clients again.

I will have more future updates. There will be a lot of new exciting services and very helpful supplements and more coming!

Thank you Lombard for 8 great years at this location. But I'm also very excited to go back home in Glen Ellyn where it all started for me. I'm very grateful, I honestly am so very grateful for all of my clients that choose to see and visit our new location when it opens.

We've secured our new location and hopefully to be open in May! There will be a build out involved so depending on permits I really hope to open May 3rd. Meanwhile, I'm going to keep all appts in April for the exception of the last week. I will have to move anyone that has an appt that last week for the move. I apologize for that but I have no choice in that matter. But the good news is that our new location will be at 5 corners in Glen Ellyn. The new address hopefully starting in May will be 817 N Main in Glen Ellyn. I will be calling or texting clients individually over the month of April. Please wish us luck that we can open there soon. I don't know how Glen Ellyn is with timing on permits but I promise to do my best to make everything done as fast as I can. 💛

We apologize as we cannot take new clients until the late spring/summer. Until then though we are happy to refer you to our friends as Top Dog salon in downtown Glen Ellyn and our friends at the Groom Room in Lombard. Pawfect Styles is currently in a transition with a move to a new location that will be much better than ever and we will continue to have focus on quality grooming and more coming! Until we can have our new location completed, we must take care of our current clients first. Ofcourse this will take some time until we are ready, but we are open to waiting lists to new future clients. So feel free to call us or text us if you'd like to be notified when our new location is complete. Until then, these two salons are the best in the area with great, compassionate and very talented groomers. Thank you for a wonderful year with your fur babes. We absolutely adore and appreciate all of you so much. We wish you all a very healthy and Merry Christmas! This year is a bit difficult especially for Cindy and myself without my Boo, but we will still make the best of the holiday and for the New Year coming ahead. So hug your babies tight, give them lots of love and kisses and take alot of beautiful pictures of your beautiful pups! It has taken me awhile to post this. I have been heartbroken ever since. On December 3rd I lost my best friend, my kid, my soul mate, my beautiful "heart" dog to heart failure. He was 14 years beautiful. I was blessed to be with him for a little over 7 years. Hershey and I did everything together. He was the sweetest and absolutely my entire world. We were rarely separated. Every day is now a challenge to keep going. But I'm doing my best to keep it together. I know all of our clients knew Hershey. And everyone loved him as they watched him grow with me for half his life. He was always at the salon either playing with your pups or just minding his own business sleeping lol. He literally stayed strong to the very end. He was at the salon with me the day before he passed. He did not suffer in his passing and he decided it was time to earn his wings. He will always be loved and missed. Being at the salon ever since just hasn't been the same. But all your pups help me keep it together and to keep going for him. 💛🐾❤

Unfortunately, for the time being we are unable to take in new clients. We've never had to do this before unless it was Thanksgiving or Christmas. We are currently booking out now which is about to be well over a month ahead. Due to the "covid dogs" that were all adopted during the lock downs as well as there seems to be a shortage of groomers in our industry right now from what the industry is alerting, this is making it extremely difficult to get our current clients in. Most current clients are now booking for the rest of 2021 to ensure they will have their grooming time. We are a very small business, we wish we could take in everyone right now. But the reality is we cannot. It gets so overwhelming I cannot always answer every new potential client. I do not like that. Everyone deserves a response. Once the booking normalizes again we will definitely open back up for new clients. New clients may text us to place themselves on a new client waiting list as of now for any possible cancelations and if the time slot fits, but that's honestly the best we can do at the moment. We will send you a confirmation that your on the list. We already have a current base waiting list that we will have to go through first. Hopefully we can open back up fully for new clients sometime in August. We are very sorry for this inconvenience to new clients that are interested in our services. We never thought it would reach a point like this. Covid has hit many industries in many different ways. I will post when we do reopen to new clients. Hopefully sooner than later. ❤

I just wanted to let everyone know that I lost my phone so I haven't been able to complete any bookings. My new phone did not save any text contacts. Pawfect Styles is looking to fill a full time bathing position for someone with preferred experience, but willing to train the right candidate. Patience and general understanding of animal behavior is a must. Aside from bathing and drying, candidate will be responsible to open the salon in the morning to check in first clients and also for basic salon cleaning duties. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, have reliable transportation to work and be available to work Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00 am to atleast until 4:00pm. Some days will occasionally will have a 9:00 start time.

Thank you for keeping your pets grooming health a priority as grooming health really is an essential need and helps prolong their lifespan and also keeps them feeling good. We are officially closed for the holidays and will return back to business on January 5th. Hopefully this is my last update. I should hopefully be able to finish up scheduling tomorrow. Its been a bit harder since I've been re-open the last 2 days. I counted about 70+ bookings today that I yet need to schedule. And although I'm doing my best to stay in order as recieved, I also have to make sure time slots fit properly per breed. Things are running a bit slower for grooming with the new precautions, but safety is our first priority for everyone. I want this over as much as you do. I too wish things to be back to normal life. I never expected to have this many ppl waiting when this shut down began. We have booked all of our clients that were directly affected by ther shut down. Since, I've been booking the waiting list. I feel really awful its taking this long. I've been booking as much as I can in a day, and its just Kelli part time and myself full time. Jennifer, is our new full time grooming assistant and she's been absolutely great. She started with us shortly before the shut down. I look forward to everyone getting to know her over time when we can allow ppl in the salon again. Everyone on the waiting list should be contacted by tomorrow sometime throughout the day. Unfortunately, as of now, we cannot take any new clients until we can book our current clients waiting. New clients are being referred to groomer affiliates at this time. I'm hoping June sometime, we can reopen to new clients. If you haven't heard from me, you should by tomorrow night. Be safe and well. ❤

UPDATE: I'm still working through current clients to book. We are now at 3rd week of May and will go into June. Unfortunately, we cannot take any new clients until we can get our current base in for their appts. We are working off a waiting list. I thank those who have recommended us to new clients but we most likely cannot take any new clients until around mid June. We are grateful for all of you. This whole experience has been very overwhelming. And I understand, not everyone can wait. But its important to me that we help our current base first as a priority. If anyone absolutely needs to get in NOW for grooming and is in dire need that cannot wait a few weeks, we are also working with Groom Room and Animal Traks in Lombard, our good industry friends. Groom Room can only take small dogs only. You can let me know you need to schedule with them or call them directly. Ask for Joan or Bridget for Groom Room, Donna for Animal Traks. We all work together to help one another. They are not only trusted friends in the industry but great caring groomers. If you haven't heard from me yet, you will within the week. This took alot longer than I expected for booking, plus I'm also in the middle of packing and moving, I'm doing my best to stay in contact. Our pandemic waiting list far exceeded what our yearly Christmas list is. Please, be patient and we will get to everyone. Thank you. ❤

UPDATE: We will be opening May 1st instead of the 4th. It turns out my house move was pushed to the following weekend. I have started calling back the clients that were cancelled to reschedule. Since they were affected first and had to lose their original appts, they are being scheduled in first. Those that are on a waiting list will be scheduled next. For anyone that had already prebooked their appts in advance (before the shut down) those appts still stand unless I've contacted you and had to move them. So far the only date with moved appts is May 9th. I'm really trying to get to everyone as fast as I can, if you haven't heard from me yet, please don't be alarmed. There are many waiting so scheduling is literally taking me days to complete. But I will have gotten to everyone before our opening date of May 1st. I hope everyone is doing alright and I'm grateful to see the pups again soon!
