I need help for Aero! After attempting to contact the following tagged rescues for assistance with a courtesy post for Aero I have had no luck in receiving any help. I’m willing to sponsor him for all rehoming fees/costs. I will offer free training to the home for which he’s adopted into and I will pay for continued weekly @runbuddymobile sessions for an agreeable length of time. Tonight Areo showed a new side to him, this is the first time HE INITIATED being touched. He’s always loved playing ball but hardly ever requested affection. After seeing this behavior from him I feel he’s ready for a new home. I’ve been working with Aero with his sensitivities but he’s still weary of new people and has bitten one person while in my care (During bath time) they were petting him while giving him a kick mat and he had enough. Aero shows disgruntlement but will quickly escalate if pushed to far. His thresholds are low and he will do well with someone that is patient and willing to put in the time. HE IS GREAT FOR ME. He’s shown no signs of aggression towards me or the Run Buddy crew that comes to run him weekly.

I cannot stress enough how relaxing create training CAN be for our dogs. Nala is a 80lb Aussie that will wiggle her way into any open crate that she can find. Mind you, this crate is WAY to small for her but, she loves them so much that she says “if I fits, I lays! “ (this is her 5 month old brothers crate 😅😂). #cratetraining #relaxeddog #decompress #relaxing #aussiesofinstagram

I picked up Jovi on April 11th and allowed him a few days to decompress and worked on engagement. Once we had some good engagement I started working him on some structured walks (this boy was a PULLER and had been put in a prong to help solve the issue with pulling). I paired structured walks with re-learning leash pressure. I’m so excited that I’m just 9 days we have went from him taking me for walks to lose leash walking AND getting some Sits and Downs WITH DISTRACTIONS!!! Jovi is getting more confident but this boy was terrified of loud noises and fast moving things like runners and bikes.
