Another successful trial stay! We'll be hosting Jax for a couple nights soon and we're excited to have him back 🤗 we see much more relaxed pups when they're familiar with where they're staying while away from mom&dad.

I do require trial visits for new pups before overnights are booked.

As some of my followers and regular customers were told in late April, I "shut business down" on dog sitting in the month of May. As I thought we would be done "for good," my husband and I have decided to take new bookings again 💜 I knew in my heart I didn't want to stop. But we went completely full time with it early in the year and several different life events were unfolding at the same time for my little family so it got a little hectic around here for us.
Ultimately, we just needed a little break. I'd never stretched my business and family that far before and there were some damages to the house we needed to catch up on repairing, as well.
In the future I'll occasionally be blacking out some weekends or some dates per month for family "breaks" 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm sorry for the back and forth!
I hate having had to turn away what customers I did.

I truly truly hate turning anyone away, please know that! It's hard for me 🙃 I love my business, I love these pups like my own AND you customers. But it's necessary at times as it effects my level of care for my customers AND my family+ house.

With that being said: while I have always held aggressive breed restrictions, I do need to exercise some weight limits going forward. Those will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. I may be able to accommodate if it's the only large pup I have for the dates given, but if you reach out to me with enough time in advance, I can help you find another solution if needed.

And while I did start out at only one customer at a time, I have expanded that as the business has grown. However, I will be going back down to a 3 customer at a time limit.
I thank you customers who entrust me with your pup and others at the same time - socialization is so good for them!
The thing is, going forward I will not be taking new customers for over night care without a trial daycare visit FIRST. Meaning, I will have no "stranger" around your pup. It's something I've been passionate about but haven't always been able to get all customers on board with. Those have been my difficult customers, truth be told. So it's a hard rule going forward.

When I learn your pups like my own, I have more confidence in mingling them with other pups. So that trust you've put in me doesn't go for nothing 💜
I have a 100% success rate in introducing new dogs and I take pride in all the knowledge I have in training and comforting animals.

With there being a customer limit, it does mean 'try to get your booking confirmed asap!' You can confirm your booking by paying the deposit (if it's over two weeks in advance) or paying for the stay in full (required within two weeks in advance).

I'm terrible with closing statements but I'll end this with "thank you for reading" and, of course, thank you to my wonderful customers 💜 I hope I haven't lost any of you! And please let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Some helpful information 🐾
I've had to go through a lot of coaching like this for our dog Buddy. He's a high anxiety pup and knowing and addressing what could be triggering it (like having new guests ignore him instead of talking to him) has helped his behavior immensely!

Let me know if your pup is new to socializing or having issues with guests. I probably have some tips I can offer you 🙂

How about an introduction on my pups? 😀

Our white Jack Russell is named Buddy and he is a couch potato. He also loves to sun bathe 😅 he is neutered and 7 years old.
Our brown Shollie is named Chloe and she loooves to play fetch and tug-of-war. She's also shy at first. She's 5 years old.

We also have an 8 year old tortoise tabby cat who is mostly outdoors in the backyard. She's an independent woman 😂 but has grown up around these two her whole life.
