The Rock Legends are 5 weeks!

Curriculum is in full swing including desensitization for grooming and new sounds! They’re also getting to socialize with new people & animals. We will start crate training this week.

They’re all so lovely inside & out! It feels impossible to pick a favorite!

What should we name her? 🫶🏻

Introducing our newest addition! This little cutie is a mini goldendoodle! Along with beautiful structure and a sugary sweet personality, she has special color genetics that allow her to produce phantom and tricolor puppies when paired with a bernedoodle, which makes her perfect for our golden mountain doodles!

She is the granddaughter of Tormund and was bred by one of our absolute favorite breeders, , so when the opportunity popped up I knew we had to have her!

Being a dog breeder is so much more than letting two dogs make puppies. That’s the easy part.

It’s my job to evaluate, test, and carefully choose each dog who will be a future mama and papa in my program.

It’s my job to make the hard decision to spay and neuter the dogs who don’t live up to my standards even though they’re GOOD dogs.

It’s my job to choose which mama and papa to pair together in order to make puppies who can fit in and thrive in our modern world.

It’s my job to connect each puppy with a family who will love and care for them well for their entire lives.

It’s my job to support that family through the milestones of raising a puppy into a good dog.

It’s my job to take that puppy back if for any reason that family decides they can’t care for him/her at any point in their life.

So until either I’m gone or every dog I’ve produced is over the rainbow bridge, my work isn’t done yet.

I breed bernedoodles because I LOVE them, not because they’re a fad. 🫶🏻

I own, train, and groom my own bernedoodles. I’ve educated myself AND personally experienced what it’s like to LIVE WITH bernedoodles. I know about their temperaments, the different generations, the different coat types, and the extensive coat care that is required. I know about the health issues that plague both bernedoodles and their parent breeds. I also thoroughly understand the challenges of producing a mixed breed and that you can’t select for every trait individually. I know the good and the bad, and I’ll be the first to admit that a bernedoodle is not for everyone! I’ve talked many people out of getting a bernedoodle!

I love them because they are loving, loyal, and goofy as heck! They make me laugh every day. They’re versatile dogs, athletic, happy to be my hiking companion, but also happy to be snoozing at my feet while I’m relaxing at home. I love that they can be protective of their people and their home. They make me feel safe. I love that they look at me like I hung the moon for them every day. To be loved by a bernedoodle is unlike a relationship with any other breed (and I’ve owned many)!

Before you decide to get a bernedoodle, it’s so important to talk to someone who has actually lived with them! Find a breeder who is PASSIONATE about the breed and committed to making each generation better. 🫶🏻
